Those are unexpected words, the apology and the remark that follows (but then, the elves they've encountered have been surprising).
Fili shakes his head slightly. "There's nothing to forgive, my lady." Pausing, he considers that she must mean all of this – the UE attack, the moon.
He's been preoccupied himself.
"But I

hoping to thank you," he continues. "I'm grateful for what you've done for Kili."
