[the smell of cigarette smoke, maybe oddly, immediately makes Tobias homesick. Not for Oz, although that's where the sensory memory is coming from, but for the sheer sense of familiarity. Any familiarity. Of knowing where he is and who's waiting for him or thinking about him or, in some cases, plotting his death. Just feeling.... connected. More than a week here already and Tobias still feels unmoored, floating and useless.
