[It has a lot to do with what he said to her, but she doesn't want him to feel responsible, because despite all this, the rest of what he said was... what she needed.
She doesn't want him to look so sad, either, so she walks round to his side of the bed and leans down to press a kiss to his hair. When she pulls back, she's even managed a smile.]
[It's more amused than anything, as she lets him hug her. Now that she's got her feet under her again, she feels a little more capable of brushing this off, so he doesn't have to worry.
It's not lying, he knows what's happened, she's just... downplaying how much it's messing with her.]
[In an effort to prove how fine she is, she grins, does finger guns, and makes sure there's a spring in her step as she heads over to the window to pull it open.
[And with a salute, she all but throws herself out the window.
He might her hear laughing, before she fires off the grapple gun and disappears into the night. It's such a relief to be able to really fly through the air, and if she happens to run into just a tiny bit of trouble, well.
Hopefully Saul won't be too annoyed if she comes back with bloody knuckles and a few bruises.]

It's okay, I'll figure it out.
[Somehow...]

[He says it without thinking, but when he pauses and considers his own words, it makes sense.]
I mean —
[Another pause. He studies her face for a moment, then reaches out to take her hand and kiss her knuckles.]
It just happened, right? So it probably goes the same for reversing it.
no subject
It's a work in progress.]
I don't know. [It's not dismissive, she just really isn't sure.] I've been trying not to think about it.
[Which isn't a good method of coping, but she was tired of being sad.]
no subject
You're still Batgirl.
[Saul's not sure if that's helping or hurting, or if she's even worried about that at all, but he still feels like he has to say it.]
no subject
It's funny, a few months ago I was talking to someone about outgrowing Batgirl.
[But she didn't mean like this.
And it's not really funny.]

He really wishes he knew what else to say to her, but in the end, all he manages to do is pull her into his arms.]

I'm fine, it's okay.
no subject
[He sounds convinced, but he isn't.]
You going out?
no subject
[She kisses his cheek.]
Don't worry, I'm not planning to get into trouble, I'll just be swinging around for a bit.
[By which she means she isn't going to go looking for trouble, but she might end up finding it anyway, because she's her.]
no subject
"Just swinging around." Right.
no subject
I promise I'll be careful.
[She can be careful while getting into fights......]
no subject
She's still getting the same look.
And yet he kisses her anyway, go figure.]
Please do.
no subject
I'm a vigilante, what's the worst that could happen?
[Don't answer that.]
no subject
Should he even respond to that?
Does he even have to?]
no subject
See? There's nothing to worry about.]
no subject
But probably not.
He makes no effort to hide his displeased frown, but then he makes a gesture like "get out of here, crazy."]
