heals + ice! (allumette honeycutt | final fantasy xiv oc | ota)

a. ice ice baby

[ a mad dash of bright red will blur past you, weave past your feet, in an effort to get ahead, to run straight through the monsters. you may not notice her at first given her pint-sized nature, but allumette has been on red alert the moment she sensed something wrong.

upon first contact with a zombie, she stopped dead in her tracks before jumping back, grabbing the two claw-like weapons hanging on her hips, and simply unhooking them to throw them on the floor. they disappear; replacing them is a metal wand, and in a whirl of light, she stands notably different. she waits a moment to cast, and pearls of ice hurl through the air at the zombies, effectively pushing them back.

it's no easy feat; she's not really much of a spellcaster, especially not offensively. this is only for a few moments, and when the zombies lurch forward towards her, she has to run back. retreat, retreat! she can't use fire here, there's too many people around, and it costs too much magical energy-- ]

b. kyrie eleison

[ injured? exhausted?

you're suddenly washed over with a cool, refreshing breeze, like stepping into a meadow. behind you stands a young woman, 3'8'', holding a cane, shield, and dressed in bright red. she touches your shoulder, tilting her head, pigtails swaying. ]

Are you alright?

[ the snarl of a zombie captures her attention, though, and she quickly casts another spell--it's almost as if you can feel small shields all over your skin. ]

I'm very sorry--but get up. We need to leave immediately. More specifically, you need to, if you do not feel up to par.
