Date & Time: Nov. 19th - ??? at least several days, tbd
Location: Empty housing in the West Wing.
Characters: Arrested mutineers & visitors (potentially YOU)
Summary: Everyone locked up some mutineers so now they're slightly stuck in place.
Warnings: there will probably be discussion of violence and death, will add if necessary.

[ Mutineers have been put in some of the empty rooms in the West Wing, one guard at a time on the hallway and the doors only able to be opened from the outside for now. Roslyn and whoever else she can get to volunteer are rotating guard duty.

They have been set four to a room for the moment.

Cell 1: Charlie, Connor, Max, and very briefly Sev
Cell 2: Chloe, Marie, Tempest, Bond
Cell 3: Sev (after not long at all)
Cell 4: Jesse (after taking Tempest's powers)

Visitors are allowed, but please note that anyone who had at any point been advocating violence against the mutineers in a place where Roslyn is likely to have seen it will absolutely not be allowed near them. Visits will be supervised and in a separate room from the cells for the sake of privacy, with the door open and a guard within easy eyesight  and earshot of any raised voices. 

Mutineers will start without access to their tablets but will regain access within approximately a day to two days. However! These tablets will be temporarily unable to encrypt messages. Private messages to personal inboxes are still accessible but on the network itself all their interaction must be public.

Guards on Duty: Roslyn, Riku, Raiden, Wesley Mitchell, Travis Marks, Seras Victoria, Caspian. Working on 6 hour rotations, so each guard is on approximately once every 1 1/2 days.

[She should be glad to see him. Wants to be, despite everything that's happened, and coping means pacing with her eyes set on him-- wringing her hands-- as her mind struggles to swallow down all the problems she can't begin to fix from in here.]

( he can sympathize. the prospect of confinement was a thing of his nightmares. certainly the rest of the tranports weren't amiable for any alternative course of punishment. not yet.

he sets the bag on the floor before leaning against the wall. there was no chance of a Meaning Conversation here, not when there were guards deliberately within earshot. so he'll have to keep things more discreet than usual. )

It must be strange witnessing the fallback confined to the Network.

Predictably offensive. [She's practically growling it out, and his alignment with Roslyn means she can slip in a great deal more to the conversation without raising suspicions.] Did you hear what they did to Tempest?

Jesse Pinkman ( ...more widely known as the cookie boy. you could never be too careful. ) took her powers without permission.

He's not too far from your cell. How is she?

( hate to be the bearer of bad news, etc. the look on her face pretty much demands a little positive sandwiching. )

He's alone, thanks to her lawyer's announcement.

[There's a curt nod as she absorbs that information; logs it away in the back of her mind and moves on before either of them have a chance to dwell.]

As well as can be expected. You lot are working on making him give them back, right. [It's not exactly a question.]

( there's a hint of tired amusement in his voice. )

She released a pack of dogs on him. That's one less thing you need to worry about. ( a pause, and then-- )

Yeah and I have a feeling most of those dogs were already nose-deep in Jesse's crotch when your boss gave the order. [Vitriol aside:] I don't know.

I doubt it'd do much for her if I did.

( he'd much rather tustle with a raging rhino with only a paperclip and his bare fists before he goes kicking on strangers doors. but he'll oblige her for now. )

I wouldn't dare miss the chance. ( a glance at the bag, and a thought comes to mind: ) Do you smoke?

Not often. [Not no, either. She spends her days getting shot at for a living: a cigarette every now and then is the least likely thing that'll wind up doing her in.]

As long as they'll let you have lighters in this place... ( at this, he turns his head to catch a cursory glance at the guard currently stationed. they lock gazes. kaji only gives them a wink that was much too intimate for a stranger's taste, for lack of a better, non-suggestive term. ) ...Well, give a little thought to it. My guarantees are few and far between.

Right now I doubt they'll let any of us have a butter knife to cut our meals. [It's a joke, mostly.] You on rotation this week for guard duty? Just so I know when not to yell obscenities at the door.

[The last sentence is an exaggeration; something innocuous to prompt an explanation of the shifts themselves.]

You're out of luck.

( so don't try anything, chloe. rather, his tone seems to suggest that if you did try anything, he'll be leaning back on his metaphorical space lawn chair with some metaphorical popcorn as accompaniment, and a whole network of undercover resources in the case that things got dicey. )

Not that it's not an appealing prospect, of course.

Something tells me the best is still yet to come, Miss Frazer. ( and that something's also telling him these guards probably won't be getting a full night's worth of anything save for trouble. )

[It's the sort of smile that fails to reach her eyes, but nevertheless it's a smile all the same: 'best' can at times be such a nebulous term.
