Summary: First impression & teaching session

[ Kaede isn't really sure what to expect with this first meeting. She has checked her outfit once, twice, many times, making sure she looks presentable to meet Jean, and then telling herself to stop and leave her room.
She shoves her hands into the pockets of her shorts so she stops messing with them, trying to calm her nerves. Nathan had said she was a kind and considerate person, and Jean sounded like that on the phone, but it still made Kaede nervous anyway. She isn't even sure how much Jean could help with her powers, and it's not like the preteen has been able to make them grow in some way since arriving in Exsilium.
She takes an available virtual simulation room and stares at the consoles for a minute or two. Something calm and relaxing should be good, right? Eventually, she comes up with this, which is what Jean will walk into. ]

She wasn't expecting to step into a vibrant clearing, and a surprised smile curves her lips.
It softens as she sees Kaede, waving as she approaches.]
