[CLOSED] for better or for worse
Date & Time: Nov 21st
Location: Unit 186
Characters: Loki & Syllona
Summary: One post-mutineer is crying like a crybaby and a certain roomie is HERE TO HELP(?)
Warnings: probs none
[ Syllona hates crying. It doesn't solve anything, especially any of the mess she's gotten herself into recently. There's finally nothing she can do to hold it all back, keening into her pillow softly at night, sobbing and replaying in her head everything that's happened. She doesn't regret the mutiny, not even a little, but it's caused so many new troubles...
She huffs, thumping her head against the wall with a thunk. ]

the sobbing.
Loki frowns, his finger outstretched toward the screen of his phone before he tucks it away and heads to her door. does someone care about boundaries? no, because he's already peeking through the door.]
This is an awful lot of boo-hooing. I'm sure each of the Nine Realms have heard you by now.

Oh-oh! W-what do you know? Just go away.
[ And it's right back to curling further into the corner of her bed she's chosen to hole herself up in, arms covering her face from the embarrassment. ]

You can't expect me to leave you in such a state. I would be a very bad lodging buddy.
[so he hops up and sits cross-legged on the bed, peering down at her face.]
We could do something fun! To get your mind off of things!

Loki, you can't just--just come in here! It's my room, you know that. I don't... [ A little hesitation. ] I don't want to do anything.

You simply wish to sit here and feel terrible? Come, you've worked your penance off for—[he's looking at the back of his wrist like there's a watch there (there isn't).]—at least a few hours of entertainment.

You're rediculous. [ But, this time, no bite behind it. If anything, it may as well have been 'Fine, you win.' the way it ends in a sigh. She scoots herself to the edge of the bed, wiping her face again for a few seconds of composure. ] ...what would we even do?

he turns and puts his feet on the floor, bouncing to his feet. he turns dramatically and holds up a finger.]
Yes, well, I hadn't thought that far ahead yet.

[ Her own stand is much slower, just straightening her clothes and getting the last of the tears off. Loki has so much energy it's a wonder where he keeps it all, she thinks, though it could just be a lingering grumpy thought over the whole intrusion.
Speaking of which, the door out is exactly where she heads, holding it open for him with a thoughtful glance away. ]
Um, I don't know. I'm not so good with coming up with fun ideas. Reading and walks, that's what I've been doing.

While reading and walking have their merits, I believe they can be as easily achieved alone as they are together. Have you a deck of cards of play? I have an idea!
