Date & Time: Early Dec. 6th through the 8th
Location: Earth!!
Characters: Carol and open for the first option, Carol and Christopher for the second
Summary: Carol arrives on Earth! ...And then bad decisions follow.
Warnings: Some violence later on
[A. The Arrival]
[Admittedly she was scared at first, wondering if she should wait before making that trip down to Earth once she discovered it was all right to do so. She was eager to get off the moon, sure, but would she like it once she got back down?
Well, she supposes that she can't stay up here forever anyway. Not that she'd want to. Even in just a few months, she was already tired of space. She thinks that this might actually be the opportunity to give the potion she recieved from Doctor Facilier a try. It was supposed to make her brave, right? If she were brave, then she wouldn't have any hesistations about returning to Earth.
And after one sip, it turns out she's right.
Upon her arrival, she's amazed just how pristine and gorgeous everything looks - like stepping into some winter fairytale.]
Oh wow, everything's so beautiful! I never would've guessed it looked like this... [and then she has a realization.] ...and cold! Cold! Cold!
[Well, she can admire its beauty later once she isn't freezing. Though she dressed as warmly as she could, she's definitely not prepared for this kind of cold weather. As soon as she reaches civilization, she'll approach anyone and everyone with one important question on her mind:]
E-e-excuse m-me, w-w-where d-do I buy a c-coat?
[B. The forest - locked to Christopher.]
[After having just enough time to settle in and gather things she'll need to stay warm, Carol's eager to explore a nearby forest. Not just to find more supplies, which is part of it, but that potion she took a sip of has given her the strangest urge to go exploring out in the wilderness. So as soon as she's able, she bundles herself up warmly and takes a pack of supplies that might come in handy if she strays too far into the forest (which much to her surprise, sounds kind of exciting!).
Right as she's leaving to head out, she'll run into Christopher. Normally, she'd stay and talk - he must have some interesting stories of course, but she can't seem to fight off that nagging feeling that's telling her to go out into the woods. To go as far as her legs would allow her to, and see what this new Exsilium has to offer. Not wanting to stop to talk, but not wanting to brush him off, she tells him that she'll be spending time in the woods. Oddly enough, there's no shyly asking for help, or any kind of uncertainity about how dangerous this trip could actually be. She tells him he is welcome to come along, but for the first time she didn't feel like she actually needed his help at all.
She doesn't wait long before giving into that nagging voice, and starts venturing towards the woods.]

The snow is a tad inconvenient , though not unpleasant to the eyes. He is lost in contemplation for a long time, long enough to miss the girl approaching him. He spins around, startled, but greets her with a warm smile. He recognizes this little one. She has been boarding with Solomon, hasn't she?]
I am afraid I cannot tell for sure, madam. Though, last time, there was a pawn shop just around that corner.
[Without further ado, he takes off his own frock coat and wraps it around her shoulders. ]
Would you mind if I kept you company, Miss…?
a
She feels the warmth of the frock around her, and suddenly feels more at ease. In return, Kevin gets a smile.]
Oh-oh, hello again. You were one of the new arrivals that was staying in our room, right? And of course I don't mind company!
[Her smile widens, and she wraps the frock around herself a bit more.]
And um, thank you very much. I didn't get a chance to prepare properly...
Re: a
[Like most children, the girl reminds Kevin of young master, except that had she been young master, he would have had to work much harder to earn that adorable smile. With obvious expertise, he helps her button up the coat, raising the lapels for further protection against the freezing weather.]
As it happens, I have been in Exsilium for a few months, but moved to room 154 to stay close to an acquaintance of mine [Because there was no way he would trust Solomon's survival instincts.]
However, I do not think we have had the chance to introduce ourselves. My name is Kevin Cecil, madam.
[He gives her the sort of polite bow that signalizes him as an old fashioned servant.]

[Oh he's buttoning her up too. She remains still while he does this, even though she's still shivering a little. She hasn't completely warmed up yet.]
You mean Mr. Solomon? He seems really nice! He's been a very nice houseguest, even though he hasn't been here very long.
[Solomon was very nice to her when he first arrived, so she really only has nice things to say about him.]
It's nice to meet you, Mr. Cecil! I'm Carol.
no subject
Ah, Mr. Solomon is, indeed, really nice.
[He offers his white gloved hand. Even without his coat, Kevin is still rather warm. Discreetly, he uses his powers to raise her body temperature a little.]
Shall we find that pawn shop, Miss Carol?
[The girl is so cute. He hopes Corol's cuteness will move the pawnbroker's heart.]
no subject
Um, yes please! And do you also know where we need to go in order to find a place to stay?

[Now that she doesn't feel like a popsicle anymore, she'll cheerfully try to pull him along to the pawn shop.]
no subject
He will spoil her so!He is glad Solomon will have someone like her to keep him company. The pawn shop is a tiny and seedy place and does have, in fact, little girls' coats.]
Do you have any preference, madam?

aww yes B
Except that something is nagging at the back of his head. Christopher has watched humans for a long time, so he thinks he understands a certain amount about them. What he witnessed now wasn't right.
Not long after Carol departs for the woods, he elects (on a whim, of course) to follow her. Who knows? It could be fun.]
no subject
Where she's headed is a pretty vast forest, and it would make any normal person hesitate or at least feel a little nervous. But Carol? She doesn't even slow down, she even twirls a little in the snow.
As she spins, she sees Christopher just a little further behind. Ah, she didn't hear him follow her. All she does is smile upon seeing him.]
Hello again, Mr. Christopher. Did you want to go exploring too?
no subject
How could I not want to? With all this great expanse of nature before me, I want to meet every inch of it! Wait, no, every atom of it! Even its subatomic particles! Nature's endless domain is truly marvellous, don't you think?
no subject
It's really pretty! It looks completely untouched - and I wonder just how big this forest is? [Go look, Carol, go right now and see what's over those hills.] I'm going to go get a better look!
[And, probably without realizing it, she chooses to dart off. Maybe she's just excitable? Still, she stops when she's got a good look, and she's actually a little surprised to find that this forest is way bigger than she imagined it would be.]
no subject
When she stops, he stops beside her, smiling with a little bit of amusement.] Is this the sort of situation where you can't see the forest for the trees? It seems more like all we can see is the forest, which is made of these trees, after all. Is there something you're looking for?
no subject
[Wow, look at all those trees. She tries to resist the urge to climb one. She really wants to. In fact, while they walk together, she reaches out to tug at a nearby tree branch.
Every once in a while, there's a very faint noise. Like snow crunching that's coming from off in the distance. She doesn't notice the sound or give it much thought.]
Do you could climb one of these trees, if you really wanted to?
no subject
Do you plan on racing me to the top? I'll warn you, I've never lost a climbing challenge even once!
no subject
But she really, really wants to.]
Well, if that's what you want, I don't mind.
[This should be a pretty big sign something is wrong.]
no subject
Hahah, maybe a little later. I feel like spending a few moments settling in instead, don't you?

i'm so sorry for how late this is
I-I have no idea, s-sorry! [ She can't help but laugh at how silly they must seem, talking while chattering so terribly ] M-Maybe we should look t-together? Before we freeze!
no problem!
A-at l-least maybe o-one of the shops w-would be w-warm!
no subject
[ That way they can at least talk properly without being so cold ]
no subject
[And she immediately heads in that direction, opening the door for Levy before she heads in herself.
Already she can notice the temperature change.]
no subject
She hops on the balls of her feet to continue to warm herself up, chuckling ] I've never been so happy to be inside somewhere I don't even know.
[ Speaking of which, they're getting a couple of strange looks from the owners and other occupants of the shop ]
no subject
[Carol ignores the strange looks for now.]
I really wish they would've given us warmer clothes before we got down here. I wonder where everyone's supposed to stay? We can't sleep out in the snow or we'll freeze.
no subject
That's right... We don't really have places to stay here, do we? [ A worried look appears on her face, and she frowns slightly ] Do you think there are inns possibly?
