why didn't noah do much fishing on the ark?
Date & Time: january 7th
Location: some frozen lake in the middle of nowhere ville
Characters: RYOJI KAJI and SHINJI IKARI
Summary: kaji takes shinji on an impromptu ice angling trip after sending him a picture of an old norwegian dude fishing in the nude
Warnings: tba
( it's a brisk walk through the snow, what with the cart of fishing paraphernalia to haul behind them. just the same, he wasn't so naive as to forget about the dangerous wildlife to be found in this area. being mauled to death by a strange animal would an amazingly embarrassing way to go - even by kaji's standards - so he deliberately packed some weaponry just in case.
they stop at the edge of a large slush-bank that gave way to a considerable expanse of snow overlaying what used to be a lake. aside from any mauling troubles, the last thing they want is thin ice. he grounds the cart against the bank and turns to face shinji, hands on his hips and face looking especially flushed. looks like he's not used to the snow, either.
there's a shiny axe waiting for you, shinji my boy. ) Well? You do the honors.
