[Allen sure is super unconscious suddenly.

And gray. For some reason.]

[And you may have heard someone screaming "I'M FINE" repeatedly at themselves near the castle grounds a short while ago, strangely.]

[The golem on his head right grins back, but Allen's smile is rather subdued.]

Rosette... [ the change isn't a conscious one, but he hasn't tacked 'Miss' onto her name in a while. ] Ah, thanks.

[His cheeks are red from the cold, and he's got a purple stamp of friendship forming on his jaw from the other day. He pauses, glancing behind himself, before stepping inside.]

Toothy, too!

[After inviting Link in as well, she sweeps the door shut behind them. The cabin is small, barely three rooms big... but they've made a... somewhat skill-less but whole hearted attempted at fixing it and making it a home. The sparse furniture has been obviously scavenged... and is slightly more recognizable from whatever shape they were found in. But there was hard worked and no small amount of pride in there.

She doesn't comment on the proof of friendship, but simply nods her approval. But no, first thing's first.]

How are you doing?

[Doesn't look too bad, to him. Cozy. And warm enough, which is what really matters in this place.

He shakes his head, as if to dispel any notion that he's anything other than,] I'm fine. [ he's alive! and didn't kill anyone! he can't complain. ]

[But he can only say that because of her.]

Are you...?

[Please hold, this is time to do what she DIDN'T get to yesterday. She sweeps him up into a hug.]

I'm fine... I'm fine!

[He readily returns it, wrapping both arms around her and ducking his head down.]

I didn't get a chance, yesterday... [ his voice grows thick, ] Thank you, Rosette. Thank you for saving me.

I'm sorry...

[There's a pause, almost a convulsive tightening of the hug at... that. She froze for a second, completely at a loss for what to do with someone thanking her...]

Idiot... [There's no force of venom behind it.] I meant it, you know. ... All of us falls down now and then... That's just where friends come in.

You're not allowed to say sorry.

[Get used to ittttt.]

I'm the one who let it reach that point, so- [ he can say sorry if he wants to! ]

I'm very fortunate, to have a friend like you.

[She loosens her hug.]

... You have more than just me... you know. Not just in there, but out here.

[He straightens up. And runs a finger over his bruise.]

I know. [ he has more than he deserves... ] I can't say I've done right by them, at all, lately... but I won't let this happen again.

[Haa.]

Really, if there's anything that I could do for you...

[Though she stops to make a show of thinking.]

[After another pause, her tone is more sincere.] If I do need help, I will ask you.
