Date & Time: Sometime back during the first week of January.
Location: Moonbase
Characters: Asbel Lhant and Rise Kujikawa
Summary: Asbel sidequests to the moon to visit a friend and see how things are going.

Hey there, it's been a while!
[Asbel lifts an arm in greeting, his smile easy and bright. It feels like months have passed since he was last moonside, even though it's only been a single one. Still, he can't complain too much. Up in space it's comparatively warmer and more peaceful than down below, despite knowing they must still be struggling with supplies and regular maintenance up here.]
[But Asbel didn't make the trip to try to solve the moonbase's assorted problems. Instead, he came to check up on Rise. With so many of the Transports now on Earth, it's bound to get a little lonely up here sometimes.]
So, how've you been?

Lost in thought, she barely notices she isn't alone, until Asbel's greeting.]
... Oh! Asbel-san... hey!
[Her smile is just a little forced at first, but it quickly turns genuine as she rushes to greet him. Rise Kujikawa was never meant to be a recluse, after all! And it's always nice seeing a friend she hasn't seen in a while.]
... Okay, I guess. As good as things get up here...
/adds to the late pile.
[He considers her answer for a moment. It's not the most encouraging; he remembers that Rise wasn't exactly in the best of spirits back when her roommate disappeared on a mission, either.]
Kind of quiet, huh?
But at least things have calmed down up here. It's good to know that the base is relatively safe now.
