[It's still a little strange, being able to come back to someone happy to see him, ready with such open kindness. Shinji shakes his head before pulling off his scarf, hanging it on the door.]

Don't worry about it. [It did take some running around to gather what he wanted, but aside from that...] We both have to eat, don't we? Uh, I was thinking that soup would be good for this weather...
