magnificent crecendo
Date & Time: Jan 28th
Location: outskirts of Exsilium
Characters: Rodimus & Vanadi
Summary: Vanadi can never pass up the chance to flirt at a giant robot, he just can't.
Warnings: wow hopefully not
[ He's not exactly happy about being out here, but one does what one must. And one currently has his hands shoved deep into his pockets, a hat pulled low, long ears tucked back into it, and boots that are doing a poor job of keeping out the chill of the snow. And he can't even feel his legs, what with their being entirely metal, so that's very impressive.
He kicks at a lump of snow, sighs when it does nothing but explode on his foot, and trudges on. Snow is rapidly rising on his list of things he never wants to see again; terrible shame that it's about all one sees anymore. ]

Primus.
( Straightening up, he turns around to look for the organic in the hopes he didn't actually hit it. That... would take some explaining that he doesn't really want to do right now. )

He blinks, eyes wide, but quickly finds a smile. Drift? He hasn't seen Drift in — how long has it been? But... no, looking closer, the colors are all wrong. Just some other giant metal man, of course, how silly of him. He hops to his feet. ]
Vanadi, actually. My thanks for not killing me, I do rather appreciate that.

( YES VERY HELPFUL. )
You're welcome. ( Also not very helpful. He vents air from his system in a sigh, dusting off some of the snow that's settled on him. ) I'm used to most organics being taller than you are - they're easier to spot, especially in the snow.

[ He starts forward over the snow for a closer look, sinking more deeply than might be expected from someone of his size, but moving gracefully nonetheless. Especially now that he has an audience. ]
Lovely to meet you though, Rodimus. I had no idea there were more -- what was it? Cybertronians?
no subject
( He's stuck with a stellar group of Cybertronians, let him tell you. It doesn't occur to him that he could be referring to anyone else - maybe Swindle, but it's not like Swindle deserves a passing mention. )

[ He'd make a pretense of considering the question, generally so as not to make the asker feel stupid when he comes up with a completely different answer — but why bother? The proper name is written right there on his databank. He smiles brightly, coming to a stop in front of Rodimus about 10 feet off. ]
Drift, actually. White and red with a touch of black, I believe? Yes? Rather a pleasing color scheme, really.

Drift? ( DOUBLE NOPE. Whatever Vanadi is expecting, it probably wasn't the excitement and slight apprehension Rodimus is radiating. Drift. He can apologize, he can make amends, he can tell him - well he doesn't know what he can tell him, maybe that he shouldn't have taken the fall. Something. ) He's here? Now? But he hasn't tried to contact me at all--
( He trails off there, because there's definitely a reason why he wouldn't have tried to touch base. Guilt pulls at his spark and he shuffles awkwardly. )
He is here, right?

Except he doesn't know what's happening to Drift, or if the DJD are on his tail, or anything. )
Right before I came, then. Great. ( The longer he's here the more he is reaffirmed in his INTENSE DISLIKE for it. ) Was he still in one piece? Like no one with a deep desire to hunt down and torture ex-Decepticons decided to teach him a lesson or two?
( Is it against the bro-code to out someone as an ex-Decepticon if they're not there to deal with the fallout?! )

I should clarify — I had met him only once. But he was very courteous, to the point of offering me an escort home after scaring away a few ornery humans, and he looked perfectly well and healthy.
[ also no idea what Decepticons are, so, that's nice. but he can at least do his best to soothe whatever fears this guy is mulling over. ]

( AND WHO'S FAULT IS THAT? SOME ASSHOLE WHO'S NAME USED TO BE HOT ROD. )
no subject
My pleasure, of course. [ And with an arched brow: ] Was does sound like an interesting story, if you don't mind my saying.
[ But if this guy shows any inclination toward that, then let it be somewhere warmer. ]
no subject
( Which is all he's going to say on the matter and so instead just looks incredibly large and incredibly awkward. )
no subject
Of course. [ He waves it off easily. ] Now, out of curiosity, just where does someone as large as yourself keep hidden hereabouts? I admittedly haven't been looking, but I feel I ought to have at least glimpsed you before!

Nova dragged us all to some ruins of an organic building off the river. He said it suited his tastes better.
( It's a palace, Rodimus. Of course it does. )
