(no subject)

Date & Time: 4 years prior to the Vegas conference
Location: Okkan Agi R&D
Characters: Luke Skywalker, Lea, and Jaime Reyes
Summary: MISSION MISSION MISSION TIME YEAH
Warnings: N/A

Enough was enough when it came to inaction. While Jaime wasn't entirely clear on time traveling ethics and the lives that could be harmed through their actions, what he did know was that they weren't going to get anywhere without gathering some intel. He didn't bother asking anyone he knew to come along on this particular mission, and instead left it up to chance - whoever else signed up would be his partner. One would think that he would know better, considering the fact that he had been unwittingly rooming with a war criminal for a couple of months, but apparently he hadn't learned his lesson.

He waited in the Transporter room, leaning against the wall as he flipped through some of the information they already had on file as he anticipated his teammates' arrival. It seemed that this was a mission that would take a few days, but it didn't look too difficult. All that was left to do now was to meet and greet his two teammates.

"Well, I don't exactly have ten years, but I've done my fair share of scouting work," Luke shrugged. He'd had to look like a total nobody more than once while they'd been on the run from the Empire (or infiltrating something). He glances over his own packet of information and then nods in agreement.

"Sounds good to me. Shouldn't be too hard, right?"

Spoke like someone young and cocky.

Lea made a bit of a face and waved one hand.

"Well don't go thinking I'm some kind'a fogey," he chided, and sort of shrugged. "I got... recruited young, you might say." And that was about all he was going to say. He grinned at Luke then. He kind of liked this kid's style. "Just don't expect it to be too easy," he said, wagging a finger; "better to prepare for the worst, got it memorized?"

And then he shoved his hands back into his pockets.

"Well, shall we, then?" he asked, gesturing to the Transport pad. "The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can come home and brag about the awesome job we did, right?"

At least that was what he was planning on doing.
