WE ARE NEVER EVER EVER (EVER EVER) GETTING OUT OF THIS LOOP TOGETHER

Date & Time: February 7th - 14th (which happens to be 7 days' worth of February 7th. so just...February 7th.)
Location: Exsilium!
Characters: EVERYONE...who wants to use this space.
Summary: Here
Warnings: TBD (let us know if something needs noting)

February seventh came and went...and came back again. No matter where they were or what they were doing the time midnight rolled around for the eighth...Transports found themselves exactly where they were the midnight prior.

And so the day began again.

And again.

And again – for a week!

For some, maybe the involuntary reset was a godsend. Maybe. But how many times could a person repeat the same day before losing it a little? Or a lot?

Only (looped) time could tell.

"Oh gee, we'd have to personally track them down? Or give them a call via tablet?" She walked after him, amused and liable to poke at his sides once she was close enough. "What're you planning on doing, oh so wise one? The complaints are usually what comes before the whole 'and now we do this,' part. You aren't ever really surprised it takes effort to rally people together."

She knew he wasn't, for all she'd kid around about his (very real) laziness and the like. Paris had been nothing but needing to make his own connections. Her world focus had been narrow, but she'd caught on to that in spite of herself.

"If two technologies are canceling each other out, or canceling time out like this, then something has to give."

If she did take a poke at a side once she was near enough, he'd move to catch the hand. Not harshly, of course, but right now things felt too serious for such playfulness. He shook his head at the rest of what she said.

"And who would respond if we did call? If it's two technologies interfering, there isn't a thing I can do about it, which is the frustrating part. I may have figured out how to use a computer over that last year, but anything else and I'm useless."

He doesn't bother hiding the mild frustration in his voice. It was pointless to bother with such a facade around Collette and he had less and less energy for this after so many repeats of the same day.

She shook his hand gently when he caught hers, recognizing and sympathizing that for him, this was the most frustrating sort of situation to be in. If he was supposed to know everything he could in order to plan out how things would go, being denied that information because the basics were already so difficult for him to grasp... she knew it drove him crazy.

"People would respond. People do, and you know it, even when you're grumpy that around here it's impossible for any one guy to know everything about everything, and act accordingly."

She tugged on his hand and arm, trying to guide him out of this portion of the warehouse and into the part where odds and ends weren't stacked precariously toward the ceiling. "Sounds like you've got a bit of a problem, my friend. Think we'll need some kind of computer genius to help fix it! Or even the AI - have you talked to it yet? I've seen the broadcasts, but I don't know if it's as muddled right at the Transport Pad."
