✗5 → [ open! ]

Date & Time: 8/28, evening
Location: Library
Characters: [Unknown site tag][personal profile] umadrobin & open!
Summary: Red X wants to find decent music. No luck.
Warnings: TBD

"Who listens to this!?" the thief hollars out, clearly irritated by what he's discovering. He's in the media section of the library, looking through their archives of music. Well... it's disappointing. Very disappointing. As in, it's mostly been censored and edited by the government.

No dirty lyrics. Nothing that can be considered 'subversive.' And a lot of the tracks have been edited to sound patriotic, if not jingoistic. A way of propaganda, obviously.

"This... isn't music!" he groans, almost exaggerating his outrage at the horrible choices of music. He's actually making quite a ruckus, given that it's a library, but the librarians clearly aren't going to try to do anything about it, except maybe call the authorities if he gets violent. Which he's strongly considering, at this point.

Dare approach?

Raven frowned as she tasted the "surprise" drink he'd brought her. Tea, definitely tea and... something else. She took another small sip. She couldn't say it tasted bad, just unusual. And definitely not something she had ever tasted before. She quirked a quizzical eyebrow at the thief. "What did the bartender put into my tea?"

Tea and spices, that was a mix Raven liked quite a lot. And rum was sweeter than any of the alcohol she'd tasted before. So she took yet another small sip before setting her cup down. "And how did you convince the bartender to put some 'Captain Morgan' into my tea, then?"

Raven snorted at that answer but leaned into him anyway. "Yeah. I guess most people do." But not her. At least that was what she wanted to believe.

"It's quite good, yes." Of course, she did like it. Since the major ingredient was tea.

She gladly accepted the kiss and then tilted her head when his lips moved to her neck, giving him better access. She would not deny him the opportunity to leave his mark on her skin. After all she had done the same to him only minutes before. So it was only fair. Truth be told, she kinda liked that kind of reciprocity that existed in their relationship. That and the fact that he loved her so deeply. "Such a thoughtful boyfriend I have," she said, trying to sound sarcastic although it was really what she thought this time.

That made her chuckle lightly. "I bet you would." And she just leaned a bit more into him. No, she never allowed herself to appear vulnerable, except sometimes with him. It scared her when she realized that. But she liked it every bit as much as he did too. Her head was leaning against his shoulder and her voice barely a whisper as she murmured: "...I love you."

Neither did she. All things considered this was the best first public date she could have wished for. And she could have hexed anyone would have dared ruin this moment without so much as a warning.
