Only a few find the way [open]
Date & Time: Throughout the day of August 29th
Location: All over the city
Characters: Alice & YOU
Summary: Alice minding her own business and drawing stuff. Come and bother her!
Warnings: None currently. To be edited if they arise.
If Alice was to be honest with herself, then in all actuality, her time in the city had been far better to her than the majority of her life so far. She had been rid of the miscreants and drunkards that tended to flood the streets of London, along with anybody who was aware of her past history. A roof over her head and a bed to sleep in, money with which to make purchases... Clothing, a tea set to call her own, and access to both a library and a tea shop where just some of the benefits.
Not all change was good, Alice knew that all too well, but this one seemed to have been quite advantageous. Now if only something could've been done about the Initiative themselves. No matter, there would be time for that as well.
Today, she would have some time to herself. Among her newest belongings were a sketch pad, pencil and eraser. Though it wasn't a skill she wished to give much attention to, Alice remained a talented artist. Her drawings, though morbid and downright unusual, were quite the sight. She picked her locations, away from crowds and large gatherings but still easily spotted.
She sat down and looked at her surroundings before deciding what to draw. The people, the city itself? Perhaps her beloved Wonderland? Whatever she picked, it was an old habit that Alice felt comfortable in revisiting.

He doesn't mean to disturb her, she appears content to sit by herself, but as someone with a hobby of drawing, Steve finds himself curious enough to walk over, a friendly enough smile on his face.
He crouches beside her, not blocking her view, but also not wanting to speak down to her. ] Hey there. What you drawing?
dsgkdsg steve!
It's...
[The truth was that she drawn one of the very streets of Exisilium, but it wasn't a fully accurate representation. Large exotic plants and flowers were seemingly growing out of the concrete itself, mushrooms could've been spotted on top of the buildings in the distance, and an over-sized pair of jacks were left alone on the sidewalk.
Alice always had a vivid imagination.]
I thought the city streets would look better this way.

Hey, you didn't tell me you could draw!
[ She's no artist herself, but there's a definite note of appreciation in her voice. ]

I haven't told anybody, Miss Sayaka.
[She's never really had much reason to.]

Eh? But you're super good! [ The style reminds her uncomfortably of a witch barrier from some angles, but it's easy enough to shrug off. With a tiny grin, she leans over more, tying to get a better look. ] And you can just call me Sayaka, you know. Anything else sounds way too formal!
[ Especially from someone older than her. She's not the biggest stickler for formality at the best of times, let alone now. ]

I wouldn't know what or who I would compare my ability to, but your words of praise are certainly uplifting in their own regard.
Thank you, Mi- [oh, oops.]
Sayaka.

That's better. [ Griiin. ] I mean, I'm not really an expert on this stuff, but I haven't met anyone who could draw like that before.
[ With the possible exception of Madoka, but her art always erred on the side of cuteness. This is different, and Sayaka's more than a little interested in it. ]
What else have you done, anyway? There's gotta be more than just this! [ She's not quite dumb enough to try and rifle through Alice's sketchbook without permission, but that doesn't make her any less curious. ]

I'd have been surprised if you did, though I suppose I should consider that a compliment.
[And a little concerned, to be honest. Her art was definitely... unusual. There was talent, definitely, but at the same time, it didn't look quite right.]
Mmm, well, I've done a fair bit of exploration and familiarized myself with this city. And there's also... this.
[She holds out the pendant of the Omega symbol, her supposed weapon.]
