I've got a brand new attitude, and I'm gonna wear it tonight.
Date & Time: 9/1 at night. (Someone needs to give our cast a curfew.)
Location: A local bar that's probably way too classy for what's about to go down
Characters: Chloe Frazer & Harry Flynn
Summary: A lot of unresolved issues get discussed. With fists.
Warnings: Some violence. And by 'some' I mean probably 'a lot'.
Maybe it was pity. Maybe a little guilt over seeing Harry so absolutely destroyed that the only thing he wanted was to take out every last living person within range along with him. Maybe it was the realization that without a little support, Harry Flynn was going to keep drowning in his own bitterness until nothing at all of him was left. And maybe, just a bit, without Lazarevic around, Elena's idea of salvaging someone from their own personal wreckage had finally hit Chloe as a possibility.
Or maybe she just didn't want to deal with the thought that Flynn might pull a gun on her at any second.
Either way, Chloe finds herself drawing only one conclusion: sooner or later, they're going to need a truce. Might as well be now.
From a comfortable seat in the far back of a nearby bar she sends the most basic of texts his way; it doesn't matter if she neglects to tell him anything other than a location and the current time. Knowing Flynn, he'll show up regardless. After that, all that's left is to kick back a with a few cold beers and wait.

He doesn't bother announcing his arrival before making himself at home, simply pulls out a chair and settles in while flashing her a smile. He helps himself to one of those beers, of course. ]
Evening, sunshine.

Glad you could make it. [It's not entirely a lie, at least.] Still thinking about getting hired on?

Either way, it's usually his default strategy to get people unbalanced - and being an insufferable asshole usually accomplishes that. What happens after that... well, the results are a bit shaky. ]
Aren't I always? What have you got in mind?

So far? Mostly just basic nonsense. A few items that need recovering that most likely don't exist, tracking down junk at the far edges of town or running errands for people who just don't feel like leaving their cozy little hideouts. It's not glamorous, but you're certainly capable of doing a little grunt work, aren't you?
[Which means she and Victor won't have to. Doesn't really get much better than that.]
