Date & Time: Sept. 23rd
Location: Unit 505
Characters: Meg Masters, Grey Fox & Alex Mercer
Summary: Since they're all going to be living together, they may as well (try to) get to know one another.
Warnings: Perhaps some coarse language?
The first thing Alex did upon entering his new apartment was locate a towel to dry himself off. The rain hadn't particularly bothered him when he was out in the courtyard, but now that he was inside? He preferred not to make a mess of things.
It was only after he'd marginally patted himself down did he notice the apartment seemed far too large for one person, and he grew still in an attempt to listen for any other signs of life. Alex briefly considered calling out, but if nobody was present, he'd just feel... well, silly, really.
So there he stood, in complete silence, towel draped across his shoulders, listening and waiting.
[ooc note: Feel free to have your characters walk in to the apartment, or out of their rooms. I can work with anything! o/ Additionally, if there's anything either of you would like me to change for whatever reason, just let me know, and I'll get right on it.]

She hasn't put the enochian warding symbols in the front room yet, either, which meant Castiel could very well be with them. At least her own room was safe from angel intrusion but that wouldn't keep human hunters out.
She had to know what she was dealing with.
Meg pushed open her bedroom door and stood in the threshold, only to appear surprised at seeing a stranger.
"Hey."
Niki, feel free to tag in whenever you're ready! /o/
His hands gripped the ends of the towel draped across his shoulders, balling them into fists. The woman's greeting is mostly ignored as Alex jumps straight to the matter at hand.
"I take it you live here."

She really had no idea who he was or why he was here, though she could hazard a few guesses. He could be a burglar. A hunter. Or he could just be new and have a key to this place same as she did when she arrived.

"No." Alex nodded in the direction of the kitchen counter where he had placed his key. "I live here now."
As a man who enjoys his privacy, having roommates wasn't exactly something he was keen on, but of course, that all depended on how curious the woman would be.

"Well, you look like you're going to be a barrel of laughs as a roomie."
She shrugged and gestured to two other doors. "Take your pick. I don't think the last two are coming back." And Meg's room is obviously already chosen, since she's standing in the doorway.

"The last two? I wasn't aware people got sent back."

Meg knows what she was told when she arrived in this world, though it was kind of hard to believe. And yet, the more people she meets the more believable it becomes.
"I'm Meg, by the way."
no subject
"Alex Mercer." And that was as far as exchanging pleasantries would go with him. "Have you been here long?"
no subject
"Not too long. Just a few weeks." She's relatively new herself, so most of what Meg knows comes from the information she got when she arrived here and word of mouth.
/sneaks in here totally not absurdly late or anything
He hadn't quite been prepared to run into roommates the moment he stepped into the apartment. Not that he wasn't expecting them— if anything he'd thought they'd be assigned to barracks, but it seemed like the Initiative was trying to get on their good sides. But he'd never been particularly good with people. Especially not civilians.
After a moment of awkward silence, he gave a brief nod.
"I hope I'm not interrupting."
