little does he know ( closed )
Date & Time: october 14th
Location: the training halls
Characters: erica reyes & dean winchester
Summary: dean bumps into a pretty little thing who just happens to also be a werewolf, oops.
Warnings: possible language but idk yet.
[ after the bombing, dean's determined to become stronger. sure, he has no special abilities but his year and then some spent on attollo have left him rustier than rusty. and despite trying to get a routine going with the training before, the pirate mission amongst other things have left little time for that.
until now.
with nothing to do for once, dean can be found in the training hall, having just finished with the punching bag. he'd been good at hand-to-hand combat before, but much to his dismay the lack of hunting has taken it's toll. ordinary people might not agree, but when it comes to certain things, dean holds his skill to a high standard. one he has to meet again.
still, his frustration is clear as he mutters to himself; ]
Goddamn it...

I kind of want to write Him a thank you letter.
[There's amusement and just the little touch of something else to her voice, from her position towards the back of the room. She's skipped out on as much training as possible, for her first few weeks here. It's something that while she automatically thinks her skills are innate and don't actually require any honing...It'll be beneficial to see exactly what she's up against here.
If the comfortable lean she's got going on is any indication, she's been watching him for awhile. It's clear he's good, and it makes her think that he's either got some very interesting hobbies, or he's probably military.
Either way, the whole thing isn't bad. She could learn a little, if she pays enough attention (even if she's still sure she doesn't need it). But she's impressed, and amused enough, that she can't help speaking up when he does so first]
