(closed) so the nice thing is you get free housing and the digs are pretty sweet
Date & Time: Sometime the last week of October, in the morning.
Location: Unit 108
Characters: Roslyn Small, Scathach, and Mia Fey.
Summary: So a lawyer, an immortal vampire, and mf**king Roslyn Small walk into an apartment and...
Warnings: Will be added as necessary.
( Mia turned the key in the lock, coming into Apartment 108 with a headache and a decent pair of pants. One of the two she considered an achievement.
Mostly the pants. )
Hello?
( She calls out at a reasonable speaking volume, aware that anything more could be waking someone asleep. It feels more polite to announce her presence as she comes into the entrance-way, robe draped over her arm and her head full of confusions of time and personalities.
She's glad for small comforts, but when one of those comforts is the fact a prosecutor is still a pompous ass and another is that her boyfriend-gone-coma will wake up five years in the future still suffering severe damage in the wake of his poisoning by the woman she'd just sent behind bars, she's not sure if comfort's even the right word.
Maya is the good part, and even that ties in to worries Mia knows her sister likely shares. And such an emotional reunion! It must have been incredibly hard on Maya these last few months... )

No, I just got here. [Literally today.]

( She steps back out of the way, leaving the kitchen to Roslyn to use. She glances toward Scatty again, offering another small, distracted smile, arms crossing over her chest. Partly in a movement of self comfort, partly as she considers what she's learning. )

Almost nine months now. We go on occasional missions, we help them, they've promised to send us home at some point. We have no real reason to believe that promise, but people do vanish from time to time. They've possibly gone home. We don't know.

And you've gone along with it for the past nine months?

( Mia frowns, considering this troubling information. Scatty's question directs her gaze to the presumed teen. )
Has the Initiative used persuasive force during that time?

I'm making soup, should I make enough for three?
[ And then calmly. ] Many people have tried other methods of going home. None of them have worked.

Do you know who has been here the longest?
