A meeting of the minds
Date & Time: 11-09 Morning (backdated)
Location: Training room
Characters: Alice and Lee Chaolan
Summary: Alice and Lee discuss training methods that can be used in any situation.
Warnings: None (Maybe)
As promised, Lee brought the coffee in a metal thermal container and a two cups. He hardly went a day without coffee. This was a serious discussion and with a very serious cause. He wasn't about the escape, he was about survival. Escape could come later once they find their opening.
So far, Lee's purpose was to make life a little less boring if he could help it. What better way than training. Lots of training. Fighting was a way of life for Lee. It solved problems, made friends, showed affection, negotiated business, or it simply got the point across who was the better. In this case, it would prove how the two can work together.
Lee knew that in order to get anything done, being idle wasn't the way to do it. He was already working. He had his basics down with the start of recycling materials, refining them and making them into something useful.
Now, all that was left to do was learn more about what they were dealing with than relying on rumors, speculation and half-truths through perspective. Lee was never idle for long.
He leaned on one of the tables with his back turned to rest on the edge as he checked the temperature on the digital display that was built into the thermos.
"This world isn't all that bad if we can make it ours instead of theirs." He mused. He grew tired of being a puppet.

He wiped his hands on the backs of his thighs on the leather. The Initiative training was lacking considerably and he certainly didn't want to be caught unawares much like so many other times in his past.
"What kind of hand to hand skill do you possess before we start?" He said the moment he started his stretching and warm-up. He was incredibly flexible for a man with defined muscle.

She watched him with a grin as he started stretching, setting her gun aside after a moment to do a few stretches herself. Alice was glad for the years of fighting and surviving, she was pretty limber herself.
"I definitely wouldn't want a group of hand fighters having to put up with me."

Truth be told, he would rather limit the use of his rapier unless he was going up against something that wasn't too friendly. "Martial arts come in all different types. You seem more like the direct sort."

Like dealing with people here who annoyed her or acted out in a way that upset other Transports. She may not necessary like many people here, hell she's barely made a couple friends here, but that doesn't mean she won't stick by her beliefs.
"I definitely like being direct."
