party rock is in the house tonight
Date & Time: Backdated to sometime before Emil leaves
Location: Unit 103
Characters: Too many people idek. Roommates, Asch, Emil, Asbel, & Christopher??
Summary: Legitimate fixes to the apartment that do not involve duct tape plus a dinner!!
Warnings: I think this entire cast is a warning.
[After the whole duct tape fiasco, or maybe because of it, they'd finally gotten someone to agree to repairing it. And since they have extra guests, it makes senses to do something like a family dinner, right? Only probably is that they don't really have the space for that even, but it won't stop them from trying! If they could cram that many people in the apartment last time, this should be considerably easier. So after some finagling, a dinner had been set up! This is that dinner.
Set up will be in the comments! Tag around, get CR, HAVE FUN. ]

WALL FIXING

Clearly, the best time to hassle him is when he can't talk back. Although, he might just opt for hitting you with the hammer instead.]
no subject
Still, she approaches anyway, determined to fix that and also to check on the repairs. Maybe nag a little. Depends on how shoddy they are.]
Thank you so much for doing this! It's a big help.
no subject
Asch pulls a nail out of his mouth and lines it up on the board before trying to reply.]
It's not a big deal. I needed some paint anyway, and since there's already some here...
[He and Kaneis aren't friends, but they do have a kind of relationship full of trading favors.]
no subject
Oh-? So it's a trade off? Well, you're free to stay for dinner. Consider it a proper thank you for doing it in the first place.
no subject
[Which he did plan on taking the other redhead up on at some point.]
Honestly, the paint's plenty.

[But at least he's smart enough NOT to talk to Asch while he has nails in his mouth, so just have the feeling of being watched from a bit aways is all]
no subject
Eventually, he manages, and the loud banging of nails into the wall resumes, shaking the wall slightly as well as the fonons that only Asch can even sense.]
Not much left, I think.
no subject
Hey that's good!
Thanks again for doing this.
no subject
Mmm, maybe...]
It's not that difficult.
[Asch this is a Chosen you're talking to. He'd probabhly nail himself to the wall.]

[It's true. Give them a power tool and the entire building may collapse]

[Don't mind this guy, Asch. He'd offer to help anyone. Asbel stands a bit off to the side, watching him with mild curiosity. But, you know, it's kind of strange. If this guy's hair was shorter and he didn't look like he was concentrating so hard, Asbel could solemnly swear it was Luke.]
[What are the chances of meeting two sets of face twins in such a short amount of time anyway?]
no subject
If you could hold that board steady for a minute...
[And then he's got another mouth full of nails, oops.]
no subject
[If he sounds a little confused, Asbel still steps forward to take hold of the board. He did offer, after all! And he'll try not to let it slip.]
no subject
Asch holds a nail to the board, tapping it lightly to get it to stay, before pulling his hand out of the way of the real hammer swinging. No need to smash fingers today, even if there are a bunch of healers around.]
no subject
Getting deja vu for Ginji. Thanks bro.][Asbel holds it as steady as possible while Asch secures that end. He at least knows better than to interrupt the guy while he's swinging a hammer around, so he'll do his part and wait until he's stopped for a breather before speaking again.]
Hey. Do you mind if I ask you something?

The what?
[Also, he has no idea what Christopher is talking about. Non-Earth people problems.]
no subject
[As for that, he waves a hand to dismiss the question.] There's no need to discuss politics and sociology at a family dinner. Where did you learn to do this work? Wait, I'll guess! You are the leader of a ring of redheaded repairmen, travelling the countryside in disguise and appearing from nowhere to fix holes in walls.
no subject
...I learned to do it here. That restaurant was a wreck when I found it.

It's another couple of nails before Asch looks in her direction. By this time, the boards are almost all up.]
You'll probably want to repaint these later.
[And yes, he saw the job they did on the rest of the apartment.]
no subject
[ A nod. She would destroy the apartment if she was responsible for fixing a wall. She's the one always knocking down doors... ]
I think we're going to have to buy more paint...
no subject
At the mention of getting more paint, his eyes widen a little.]
Don't you have half the shop here already?
[Asch, no. Sophie is overly literal and will go buy half the shop.]
