(openish | prison log) lock our eyes on distant horizons
Date & Time: Nov. 19th - ??? at least several days, tbd
Location: Empty housing in the West Wing.
Characters: Arrested mutineers & visitors (potentially YOU)
Summary: Everyone locked up some mutineers so now they're slightly stuck in place.
Warnings: there will probably be discussion of violence and death, will add if necessary.
[ Mutineers have been put in some of the empty rooms in the West Wing, one guard at a time on the hallway and the doors only able to be opened from the outside for now. Roslyn and whoever else she can get to volunteer are rotating guard duty.
They have been set four to a room for the moment.
Cell 1: Charlie, Connor, Max, and very briefly Sev
Cell 2: Chloe, Marie, Tempest, Bond
Cell 3: Sev (after not long at all)
Cell 4: Jesse (after taking Tempest's powers)
Visitors are allowed, but please note that anyone who had at any point been advocating violence against the mutineers in a place where Roslyn is likely to have seen it will absolutely not be allowed near them. Visits will be supervised and in a separate room from the cells for the sake of privacy, with the door open and a guard within easy eyesight and earshot of any raised voices.
Mutineers will start without access to their tablets but will regain access within approximately a day to two days. However! These tablets will be temporarily unable to encrypt messages. Private messages to personal inboxes are still accessible but on the network itself all their interaction must be public.
Guards on Duty: Roslyn, Riku, Raiden, Wesley Mitchell, Travis Marks, Seras Victoria, Caspian. Working on 6 hour rotations, so each guard is on approximately once every 1 1/2 days.
If you have any questions about confinement etc just let me know! ]

Tempest | ota | November 19 - ???
It wasn't as if she'd be doing otherwise, if she wasn't locked up. Dark magic was akin to kryptonite for her - too much exposure and she'd die. There's a reason she's missing a finger, after all. Though when she felt better and they let her out, she'd have to yell at Charlie and Chloe for ruining her flawless criminal record. Jokingly, of course. She wasn't mad at them.
So she curls up, tugs her hood over her head to block out any light, and tries to sleep through it. It doesn't work, of course - sleep sure as hell isn't going to come easy, but maybe she'll give off that impression]
November 23
Well, he hasn't talked openly about being pissed off, at least. That tense look on his face could easily be concern. And as far as anyone knows, Tempest still is his friend. Otherwise, Roslyn probably wouldn't have let him anywhere near here. Even now, he's got Sonya and a guard babysitting him.
When he steps into the room to find Tempest like that, he's glad she looks miserable. He can't even muster up a worried tone for her, so he sounds hollow as he says:]
Tempest?
no subject
But is she ever fucking it up with all this. There's no group that's been hated like these mutineers are hated. The smart thing would be to step back, have nothing to do with all of them, if she wants to save her good name and standing...But, fuck it, here she is, standing in as the mutineers' counsel, ensuring that this girl Tempest doesn't do anything stupid - ]
Hi.
[Sonya steps in front of Pinkman before Tempest can even respond to him.]
Sofiya Karimov. I'm your lawyer. Here to advise you, to protect you from the terrible wiles of Jesse Pinkman.
[She flashes a broad grin at the miserable-looking kid in front of her.]
He does something asinine, I'll be intervening. Okay?

To think Tempest was involved into the mutiny sounded like complete rubbish for Charlie at first, but the evidence was there, and only further confirmed once she goes to check the "cells" and finds her there.
She doesn't seem to be having a good time. Good, Charlie thinks, and regrets it immediately. What now? Rouse her up? Yell at her from over there? Charlie has been the one kicked on the floor for so long she can't bring herself to do that to anyone.
So instead she slides down the wall and stares at her in silence, wondering how long would it take for her friend to notice her in there. She hasn't made a sound so far, after all.
Well, time to find out. ]

She doesn't move, though, when she speaks up, and she sounds as miserable as she looks]
If you are going to sit there and stare at me at least speak up.

Nov. 23rd, later
he'd told her that this was better than dying. he'd voluntarily stayed in a cage with isaac and scott. he hadn't told her that he'd rather be dead than imprisoned.
peter's been to see tempest once before, soon after the mutineers were first locked up, after he'd tracked down steph. to check on her, mostly. she wouldn't know it, though, because she was asleep at the time, and he hadn't been able to bring himself to wake her or stay. this time, she's awake.
peter looks calm. inside, he feels sick. but he gives tempest a bit of a smile anyway. not because there's anything here worth smiling about, but because he figures nobody's going to be smiling at her lately.]
Hey.
no subject
She tries to smile back and falls flat - today hasn't been the best of days, all things considered, and she probably looks worse than she has been. She's trying not to lose her shit (again) and while she can manage that, anything else is just half-assed at best]

November 23
But he does know how rebellions tend to go. He remembers being chased from the only home he's ever known, remembers looking over his shoulder every day for the rest of his life, all because of the decisions he made on that one single day. It's why his heart had lodged itself in his throat when he and the others had broken into the Transport room to free Vennett; his eyes had landed on her by chance, and he almost wishes they hadn't. Now he's going to worry incessantly about yet another thing that he can't do anything about, that really doesn't have anything to do with him.
Discovering she's being held captive really just cements those concerns.
It's with quiet, padded footsteps and a subdued knock on the doorframe that he announces himself, brow creased as he takes in the lump in the far corner. ]
no subject
Chrono's seen her after she's used up just about all her magic before, but somehow this is even worse - she's pale, paler than normal and paler than when he did see her, as if she's been sick. Even hidden under her hood, though, it's not hard to tell her eyes are red. She immediately looks off to the side]

November 24, laaate
"Keeping her sanity." Yeah, that doesn't sound too well.
It's late (relatively speaking) when she finally enters the room and sits next to her without a word. At least she's alive? ]
So...wel-welcome to the world of n-no powers?
no subject
But that isn't what it's like for her. She can't bring herself to joke about it yet. Especially after Sonya's post, especially after everything she'd learned following that]
It is a rather terrible world to be welcomed into. No offense.

Nov. 23rd, sometime after... things...
Look who decided to show up.
She'll find herself summoned to a visiting room; Saul doesn't want to see anyone else right now, especially not the other mutineers. Anyway, he's waiting at a table for her before the guard on duty brings her in, slouched and exhausted-looking and tieless.
And he decides to cut right to the chase, standing as soon as the door's shut. He doesn't move from where he is — he's too afraid to make any moves, after what Jesse did, and he's a little worried Tempest won't want to be in here alone with him anyway — but he's being as careful as he can be, and Saul's very good at walking on eggshells.]
I'm sorry.

November 23/24 (MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT)
Unlike this elf (half?), and so Merrill cannot help but sympathize. Though she had remained unsure on the mutiny itself, she cannot help but worry for the state of mages once again. Exsilium had started to make her relax in that regard, and this incident has reminded her that such thought is foolish. Mages are in danger no matter where they go. And to think she had let Jesse Pinkman once borrow her powers...
Clearing her throat, Merrill awkwardly waves with her free hand upon entrance, flushing when she realizes she must be terribly unexpected and even unwanted. They were not close, after all. ]
Hello! I hope I am not bothering you. My name is Merrill, in...case you forgot.
