OPEN

Date & Time: 1/4; afternoon
Location: Around the Hold
Characters: Ghost and ANYONE
Summary: Ghost is out and about, mostly sulking and trying to avoid people.
Warnings: Uh, depends on who shows up?

[Since the whole deal with Koltira, Ghost has mostly been holed up in her room. She's barely left it. But even she gets a little stir-crazy so she decided to go for a walk. A task easier said than done given the damaged state of her helmet. With it no longer functioning properly she couldn't wear it. Not wearing it means people will know what she looks like. What she sounds like.

That definitely leaves the Network out of question. At least in person she can give a false name. There's only two people, aside from maybe her roommates, that know what she really looks and sounds like.

She's completely bundled up, arms and hands completely covered. Her face mostly hidden behind a scarf and the shadow of her hood. It would have to do. Although the faint glow of her eyes wasn't hard to miss.

For the most part she's just out trying to get some "fresh" air while avoiding as many people as possible. Although avoiding people isn't easy. Eventually she settles down on a bench in what she assumes passes for a park. At least the pastime of people watching never goes out of style.

"But it's important to carry on despite those difficulties." He offered her a crooked kind of smile, standing up and looking at the sky, letting the ever-present rain drip into his sides and slide through his hair. "And perserve through them to succeed. That's how we can show those who hate us that we don't need them. That we're better than them."

He looked back at her. "Something tells me you've got plenty of those types."

He offered her a welcoming kind of smile, meeting her whited-out eyes. "We are," he assured her, with a nod. "Don't you worry about that."

"Well," he said, after a few moments, leaning back on the bench. He adopted an air of studying the crowds, although it was fairly clearly only for appearances. His blue eyes slide back to her, the sly smile still in the corner of his lip. There's something a little unfriendly about it, really.

"Is this your favorite place for people-watching? It's a pretty good spot for this kind of thing."

"I think people-watching is amazing," he turned back towards the crowd, studying them even as he spoke. "I mean, the things they do, and the things they say and the people they spend time with - well, quite frankly, I don't know if I'd believe if I didn't see it with my own eyes. I mean some of these people..."

He gestured towards the general crowd.

"...They're just so stupid. LIke cattle." The disgust his voice was more than evident at this point, a faint frown pulling the corners of his lips down. "It's nice to know that they're real good at reinforcing all these beliefs."

He sighed, shifting restlessly. Then, he looked back over to her. "How do you see it?"
