The rain. Mallepa had a lot of it, though it only made things hotter instead of colder.

[ He tilted his head a little, actually looking at her and seeing how wet she was, a muscle in his jaw jumping before he picked up a shirt, walked over and held it out to her. ]

You're wet.

[breakablegirl]

[A slow nod.] Oh.

[At his mention of her soaking wet state, she smiles a little sheepishly.] That's what happens when you get caught in the rain without an umbrella. [Except she meant to walk out there without one. And she sort of walked for a long time. She wasn't caught at all.]

I'm okay, thanks, I'll go change in a minute.. [She politely shakes her head in denial of his shirt. She didn't want to change right here, and her room was only a short walk away. She pauses a little awkwardly.]

You know that you seem sad, like, all the time, right? [She doesn't really have room to talk, but at least she tries to come off bubbly and carefree.]

[ He just raised an eyebrow at that and shrugged. Well, if she wanted to go about in the rain that was her business since she would know her own limits. After all he wasn't the one that knew anything about that healing thing she did.

Sho tossed the shirt in the direction of the bed and leaned against the wall. His nose wrinkled at the sortof question about him seeming sad. ]

Probably, yeah. I didn't have much left in my life as it was before being brought here.

[breakablegirl]

[She suppresses the light shiver that runs down her back. And frowns.]

Does that have to do with.. How you became a vampire?

[urnotafraid]

How I became..? No. This happened because someone got a little selfish.

[ He didn't think that Kei would have changed him, especially after how he yelled at Sho about changing Yi-Che. He never thought that Kei would change him in order to save him.

Not that it was much of a save. ]

I lost a lot before I was turned.

[breakablegirl]

[A nod.] I'm sorry.

[Pauuuuuse.] Sitting around brooding about it isn't going to fix anything, though. [It's straightforward, but said kindly.]

Neither does walking around in the rain without the right clothing.

[ A slight smile as he says that, just enough to show that smiling makes him look so much like a boy. It faded as quickly as it appeared. ]

It's not like I have much else to do around here.

[breakablegirl]

[She nearly objects but when she sees the smile, her irritation melts away. He never smiles, not even fake ones. It's refreshing. She smirks.] That's fair.

[A shrug.] There's stuff to do. I mean.. We could do stuff.

Stuff? [ A frown and he ponders the idea, hooking his fingers in the pockets of his leather pants. ]

Like what kind of stuff? [ He hope she didn't mean something that had to do with his vampirism or the legends that went with it. He really wasn't in the mood to deal with those issues. ]

[breakablegirl]

Uh.

[...]

We could play games, or.. Train. [A short glance around.] Maybe redo the apartment a little if you want. [She notices how the white walls seem to bother him sometimes.]

[ He does like bright colors, if his wardrobe was anything to go by. For some reason red seems to be a very popular color next to black and he does enjoy his leather a little much. ]

We'll need to find some paint for that.

[ He glanced at the white walls, controlling the urge to knock it down right at that moment. ]

Do you actually know how to use those things? Last time, you cut yourself.

[breakablegirl]

[Red is a favorite of hers as well. They may have a project on their hands.] Okay, cool.

[...] I've gotten better with them. ..And I told you, I couldn't- I didn't know I'd cut myself. [A brief flash of insecurity mingled in with defensiveness. In her current state of tired and cold and wet, it's harder to hide.]

[ Some other day then, when they are both less cold. ]

You can't feel pain? [ Weird. Sho can still feel pain even if it didn't hurt him for long. He sighed at the look on her face, trying to relax a little bit and not scare her. He was a monster but he wasn't evil. ]

I don't know how to use them but I do know a lot of dirty tricks.

[breakablegirl]

[She weakly shakes her head in response.] Nah. I used to. [And that's all she has to say about that right now.

She smiles a little, a mischievous gleam in her eyes.] Dirty tricks are helpful.

[ He just looked at her for a moment before slumping. Huh, and he thought his transformation was a bit weird. ]

They are in a pinch but you can't rely on them all the time. There's a reason why I carry around guns. I can rip a person's head off but a gun is simpler and causes less of a mess.
