[Day(s) in the life] I read the news today, oh boy.

Date & Time: Evening of January 9th - all day January 10th!
Location: Everywhere.
Characters: Claire and YOU.
Summary: A night and a day in the life of Claire Bennet.
Warnings: Probable angst. Will update if needed!

[Claire shows up unannounced at his door, hoping he's home, but not really caring if he's busy because this is important and long.. Long overdue. She's got a bone to pick with him, and her trust in the hero that she believes in more than anyone in her life is wavering. She wants the full truth and she wants it now.

Just because he's from her past doesn't make his not telling her about Adam excusable. Because he never does.

Claire looks casual enough, dressed in dark slacks and a warm lavender sweater, her boots giving her short frame another couple of inches. She's even wearing a light, curious smile on her face. Easygoing. False.

She knocks.] Peter? It's me.

[It's cold and rainy out, but neither of those things seem to be registering to Claire as she walks through the dark city streets alone, arms crossed tight, knuckles white as they grip her sides, clothes and hair soaked through her skin.

She doesn't really look like she knows where she's going. She's wandering, and free to run into at any time in any place.

One thing for sure, she's void of her usual easygoing mask. There's something troubling her.]

[Claire comes home with a shiver penetrating her to her bones. Still wet from the rain and making very little attempt to keep herself from dragging in the water from outside. It pools around her in the entranceway as she struggles to get her boots off and peel off her sweater.

Because one of her roommates is a vampire, she knows he's still awake, and a glance at his partly-cracked and darkened bedroom door is enough to give her some pause. That's not normal, and she swears she heard a noise from inside, so he should be home.. right?

Still shivering but feeling a little better since losing the drenched sweater, she makes her way to his door and taps it with her fingernails.] ..Sh-Sho?

[Claire finds Mystique by chance, which is lucky, because she'd been meaning to catch up with her and speak to her about something.

She waves before half-jogging towards the sometimes blue-skinned girl, a bright smile on her face.] Mystique! Hey!

[Claire will be exercising in one of the training rooms, stretching, doing cardio, situps and pushups, chinups, cartwheels, and backflips. She's agile and sure on her feet, but to the trained eye, she takes a lot of too-big risks. As if she doesn't even care that she could get seriously hurt. ~~Because she doesn't.~~

Later, you might find her chowing down on a sandwich in a public place. The odd thing about it is that every time she takes a bite there's the loud crunch of potato chips. Yes. She put potato chips in her sandwich. Deal with it.

After lunch she might have fallen asleep at a table. Wake her at your own risk, she's quite ~~deadly~~ handy with a pen in her hand.

She'll also be out shopping, specifically for books to read. Once she's purchased a book or two she may find a secluded place to read them.]

[Claire timidly makes her way up the stairs of Sherlock's tower, giving him plenty of warning that she's ascending to his chosen home by making enough noise, and once she gets close to the top, she calls out to him.] Sherlock? Are you home?

[She seems tired, but cheerful, even though the cheer seems to be taking a toll on her movements. Claire's dressed in slightly too-large jeans, sneakers, a leather jacket and a pink tank top. Her hair is pulled back in a messy bun, her two Kamas in special holsters attached at her waist.]

[Claire makes her way to the clinic, finally following through in her promise to come and attempt to learn and give the staff some help, run errands, whatever. She wants to feel useful and helping people is always something that gives her mood a boost.

She wanders in, looking for the tall mage in a feathered coat.]
