The fire of their hearts was young (open)

Date & Time: Starting Jan 19th, extending a couple of days. Vague vaguery
Location: See subsections
Characters: Aged-down Galadriel (AKA Artanis) and whoever
Summary: Artanis attempts to explore Exsilium and wrap her head around everything that's going on.

[To say that Artanis was not pleased with these developments would be an understatement. She’s found herself thrust into a strange world- yet another set of customs and rules she would have to learn- told that she’s to fight someone else’s war, and then comes across a child who is convinced that she is her mother.

It’s been a long day.

So, after ensuring that Celebrían was well cared for, she set out to explore Exsilium- a task that will occupy her for the next few days.]

[ooc: This is Galadriel (although she hasn't been named that yet) aged down to sometime during her first few months in Doriath. Using the same account and icons because lol immortality. Sections up.]

It might have come off as disappointed from anyone else, particularly hobbits, but with the elf lady, it didn't come off as such a bad thing. Frodo looked up slowly at her, cheeks still flushed. She wasn't mad at him for calling her over for no reason?

"I don't know what a Secondborn is." Frodo replied. "I am a hobbit. Frodo Baggins of Buckland-at-your-service-and-your-families-nice-to-meet-you."

The last had come out in a nervous torrent, jumbled together and almost mumbled. Frodo cast his eyes down again.

Secondborn. He had never heard the Big Folk called that, but elves had a way with things - and words, that hobbits didn't. And if they were Secondborn, what did that make hobbits? Thirdborn? Or something else, for if an elf had not ever heard of a hobbit, what must they be?

The pause had given the tween enough time to collect himself, though he had to make himself meet her eyes.

"Men, yes, or we call them Big Folk," he added. Though compared to an elf, they weren't so Big. Maybe elves were meant to be part of the Big Folk too, though it didn't sound fitting at all. "Most hobbits don't like adventures or strangers or other folk except hobbits. Maybe that's why you have not met one."
