Summary: Artanis attempts to explore Exsilium and wrap her head around everything that's going on.

[To say that Artanis was not pleased with these developments would be an understatement. She’s found herself thrust into a strange world- yet another set of customs and rules she would have to learn- told that she’s to fight someone else’s war, and then comes across a child who is convinced that she is her mother.

It’s been a long day.

So, after ensuring that Celebrían was well cared for, she set out to explore Exsilium- a task that will occupy her for the next few days.]

Of course. It is a fair exchange, is it not? [Oh, goodness. She's really becoming fond of this child. Tentatively, almost as if she's afraid he'll sprint off if she moves too quickly, she reaches down to ruffle his hair with her free hand.]

[His eyes widen as his hair is ruffled, and then he giggles.]

Are they? [She reaches up and playfully places a hand against his cheek.]

[He giggles again, all childish shyness, and ducks his head.]

Your sister is quite lucky to have you.

I... [His face falls somewhat.] Well, I'm not very strong, and I'm not old enough to work on my own. She takes care of me like I'm her child, so it makes things hard on her... Do you really think so?

I do. Sometimes... [How to put this...] Sometimes it means a great deal to have someone to return to when one's work is done. I think you do much more for her than you realize.

Ah-- I didn't think of it that way. Big sisters can get lonely?
