Characters: Blaine Thorps + ERRYBODEH
Summary: He's practicing with his staff. Come bug and distract him.
Warnings: Eh, Blaine potentially flirting? Nah, I got nothin'.

The first few days after the last mission had been the worst. The information he got from his older self was kind of shocking, but he really didn't know where the dark cloud that had loomed over him for days had come from. No matter how hard he tried to sweat it out he couldn't get the events off his mind. Now the unintentional sequestering was over.

Blaine felt a little bit lighter and he could push aside the somewhat foreign thoughts and memories and get outside. Well, outside of his room anyway. He found a spot along the edge of the floor to himself and pulled out the flashlight sized rod out of his pocket. He twisted it and pushed a button and it extended out to its full size, a little shorter than his 6'2" height. He spun it once or twice before he went slowly through a practice form by himself to warm up. Once done, he looked around and spotted someone who looked like they might want a partner.

He gave a half smile, "You wanna spar?"

I don't have a weapon per say, so I don't mind sparring while you're armed. I'm honestly good with either option.

[Blaine twisted the staff and it retracted. He tossed it back towards his stuff and turned back to her. He lifted his hands and started to settle into a stance.] We'll start with this.

[needsteaplz]

[She cracked a grin and got into her own stance.]

Alright then. Ah, that's right. The name's Saori.

Telling me your name before you kick my ass? How nice. [Insert a sly smile.]

I'm Blaine. Good to meet you.

[needsteaplz]

Hey who knows, maybe you might just beat me, Blaine.

[There was a very slim chance but Saori knew better than to under estimate anyone.]

Your move then.

[Normally, yes he would, but he's wary of all the humanoid totally not human things running around. Fists up, he moves forward and goes for a kick to her legs.]

[Saori jumps high enough to dodge the kick and be right above him. Since Blaine is human, no using extra powers. Just as she is about to land behind him, her feet plant themselves against his back, kicking him forward. She turns herself around to protect herself from a counter attack.]

[Wow, up and over and you know he's kind of just distracted by that for a second so when he gets that kick he stumbles forward and has to keep his balance. He's smiling though.]

Yeah, I was definitely right about my ass getting kicked.

[He turns to face her, ready and gesturing her forward for her attack.]

Well, think of it as a learning experience then.

[She says it with a smile of course. Her hands are up and ready in the mean time. Without skipping a beat, she unleashed a series of punches aimed at his face or chest.]

[He does a decent job of blocking or dodging her blows. He absorbs a few as well and there's definitely more power than her frame would suggest in it. As soon as he sees a decent opportunity to counter, he takes it.]
