Date & Time: March 6th, the afternoon
Location: Somewhere in the city ~~MY, "the city"~~, and ending up at a coffee shop most likely!
Characters: Lucy Heartfilia, Natsu Dragneel, Blaine Thorps
Summary: What happens when two mages encounter a troll who found it way too fun to tease them? ... a helluva lot more teasing, that's what.
Warnings: Probably none!

Morning training was always brutal on poor Lucy's body, especially considering it was Erza who was putting them through those drills. But it would be worth it in the end, even if she felt like she couldn't move afterwards. So immediately after training she'd informed her friends she was going back to her unit to have a shower. After that was done, she then decided to head outside again for a walk and possibly get a coffee and donut from a shop nearby. She'd meet up with Natsu again later (or sooner than she thinks), but for the meanwhile, coffee and donut was on the agenda. Also meeting certain trolls that teased her the other day, but shh, she didn't know she was going to run into Blaine yet.

Seriously Lucy, it wasn't even necessary to react that violently when Blaine was probably just joking. They can look at her ALL they like, because the huffy celestial spirit mage was absolutely -REFUSING- to acknowledge either of them for the duration of cleaning the spill, and taking ten times as long to do it.

Ew, the floor was kinda sticky there now. She stood, this time catching Natsu's eye first, and then Blaine's. FFth. "Do whatever, I don't care." Peeved at her own overreaction, she stalked away from the table again for a fresh set of napkins. Nope nope, Lucy, denial is your only protection. She was only reacting that way because Natsu was her dearest friend and she knew he wouldn't want to do that --!

Still he could have defended himself just as well. But they were best friends, and having best friends meant he didn't have to defend himself alone!

"Wha? Lucy! You know I don't go around smooching guys!" Natsu yelped indignantly at being abandoned to the wolves like that. No escaping on your own gdammit!

So much outrage he didn't even bother to notice Blaine looking at them so knowingly. They probably looked like a married couple right about now if not from the start given their back and forth exchanges.

Yep, very much the old married couple. He was finishing up his eggs and toast, too, crumbling up the last of the bacon to eat along with it. His first cup of tea was polished off and he started on the other. There was a lot of throwing Natsu to the wolves. Guess it was lucky that Blaine wasn't a particularly hungry wolf at the moment.

"Hmm. I didn't think my lips were that bad. They're not chapped or anything." Not the point, but why not be so casual about it like everything else? At least he wasn't offering sex lessons.

Yeah she did. But she's feeling huffy and stubborn and especially difficult. YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN. For now.

"You're the one that was talking about 'Practicing' on someone!!" Just the thought made her blush. LOOK WHAT YOU DID, BLAINE. I hope you're enjoying this, because ... it's true, they really were arguing like a married couple.

Blaine. Blaine stop. Ohgod. Lucy whirled on him next, "That's not the point!"

How could you! ~~Wives are supposed to help out their husbands you know! I mean what?~~

"I wasn't gonna do it! You know me better than that. " which in turn would possibly translate that if he were to kiss someone again it would definitely be Lucy.

Blaine said not a word. His chin tilted down a bit and he looked up at her with the slightest of smiles. It was just a hint as he licked the corner of his mouth, like maybe there was a bit of food he missed.

"I don't need to know about who you would or wouldn't kiss!" But she did know he wasn't going to kiss Blaine. She knew Natsu better than that. Also, he's only allowed to kiss h- errr, what? I said nothing.

What the heck was this argument even? And what was with that look, Blaine? Lucy scowls at him, "What are you smiling about?" You started this with your talk of kissing!

"Could've fooled me." A mutinous mutter but all he'd let out in response to that. When the attention turned back to Blaine he eyed the man with every ounce of suspicion he could muster.

"You were aiming for this all along weren't you? Your eyes say it all."

All of your ire and suspicion are like water off a ducks ass. He is unaffected by it and his smile, well the corner of his lips twitches just the slightest bit.

"I wasn't. You were the one who tracked down Lucy. I only wanted breakfast with a beautiful woman."

~~Ooho. Well okay the- er, I mean.~~

Wait. Wait. Was that a mutter? Lucy shot a look at Natsu, suspiciously, because she didn't QUITE catch that, "Did you say something?" Frownie face. Between the two, she wasn't sure if she was angry at Natsu -- wait, why was she even mad at him? -- or Blaine.

And really she felt it was like she was angrier at herself more than those two. But they were there. She frowned further when Natsu made his accusation at Blaine, but with Blaine's response she was momentarily caught off guard, blushing slightly. NO Lucy! Don't be fooled by the trolls trolling ways!

While that praise made Lucy blush a little more, it struck a very sharp chord inside Natsu and his right eye twitched in annoyance.

"Is that so?" Oh boy now Blaine would get the full brunt of his attention.
