Leo had started on ideas to fix up the training building before the first mission, but then he had gotten wrapped up with it, and....well, he got distracted. It happened so easily sometimes, he couldn't help it.

But with the mission over, and a little too much free time on his hands, he got back to work. He had already made a rock climbing wall (one that moved and shot out flames!), so now he was back in the training hall, trying to decide what to work on next.

So if you come in the training hall, you might find a male studying what he thought to be crude devices for training, or you might find him already tinkering on something, more specifically something of yours. Feel the need to bother him?

Not fair, Valdez. But if that's true and there are lots of new, death-defying feats someone has to pull off to make it to the top without a third-degree burn? Sounds legit. "Great. I'll have to give it a shot today. Before that, though..."

Percy got thinking. It wasn't really fair of himself to bring it up to Leo when the other kid was doing so much in the first place... "Has Jason ever mentioned to you what training in Camp Jupiter is like?"

Leo paused at Percy's question, and once again, he shrugged. "Sort of not really? We didn't talk a whole lot about the Roman Camp, at least, not outside of counselors meetings and stuff. But I was working almost none stop on the Argo II before we got here." And like he's really going to retain all that information for long, seriously.

"But I know it's nothing like back at our camp. Why?"

"In a lot of ways, it's not so different." That was important to point out. "And, well, instead of capture the flag, they play war games. Nearly the same thing, but they make forts and change up the fields for it. Hazel—" (Percy paused there and wished she was around for a split second, since she'd be able to explain this a lot better) "—uh, a legionnaire, told me they can take down and rebuild the whole camp within a few days."

Readjusting his hold on the still-unnamed sword he'd been using since he got there, Percy went on to his point. "It'd take too long to get everyone to learn how to do something like that. But do you think there's a way to set up more obstacles like a fort or maze that changed around on its own?"

Leo raised an eyebrow, but nodded as he began to stroke his chin, as if he was thinking deeply. "Yeah, I could probably whip up something like that." It might take some time, but he thought it might be possible.

"Oh! But speaking of capture the flag, Reyna told me you and her were thinking about starting that up here!" Which he is totally psyched about, just saying.

The idea of running around a fort with only semi-lethal automatons has Percy pretty psyched too. "We talked about it but we haven't gotten around to organizing it yet. But seriously, if you can do that? Or something like it? It'd be great."

Not that he expects it to be easy. "If you need me to run supplies or do anything like that, just let me know."

"You should start organizing it. I mean, after the disaster that was that mission? Gah, we need all the team building we can get around here." Leo mumbled. It really seemed like most everyone did there own thing, and they certainly weren't very organized. He didn't know a thing about war hardly, but really, who seems there troops out thirty minutes before the battle was to start?

"That'd be great. Lemme finish what I got started here, and I'm your man! I'll keep you updated."

Leo had that right. It shouldn't have been put off so long, but maybe after the mission there would be more people who'd take it up as an opportunity to learn how to work together. If not, at least it was still fun.

"It's a plan. I'll start getting things together for the games asap." Except not right now, clearly, because a fireball whooshed on the other side of the room. As far as cues went, it was one Percy was more than willing to follow through on. "After I try climbing that wall."

"Sweeeeeet!" Okay, Leo was super excited about that. "I'll head home and start working on plans, okay?"

And then he laughed, he couldn't help it. "Good luck. Haven't tried it yet, but the whole 'being fire resistant' thing defeats the point of it for me." Oh well.
