Leo had started on ideas to fix up the training building before the first mission, but then he had gotten wrapped up with it, and....well, he got distracted. It happened so easily sometimes, he couldn't help it.

But with the mission over, and a little too much free time on his hands, he got back to work. He had already made a rock climbing wall (one that moved and shot out flames!), so now he was back in the training hall, trying to decide what to work on next.

So if you come in the training hall, you might find a male studying what he thought to be crude devices for training, or you might find him already tinkering on something, more specifically something of yours. Feel the need to bother him?

"You? Are half god?"

Still with the skepticism. You might just have to prove it to her.

"Yep! You heard of the old Greek tales? Well, the forge and fire guy, Hephaestus? That's dad." Leo wasn't sure if she'd believe that, so he held out one of his hands, flames starting to dance around his fingers. But he put them out after a moment, just grinning more.

Glimmer watched him for a moment. She's pretty sure she heard something about the ancient Gods, but they spent so little on actual history like that. Still, she wasn't about to question a kid that made fire with his fingers... Out of nowhere. She watched the fire, entranced, and tempted to reach out and touch it. To see if it was real. But with the heat radiating from it, it was no question.

The corners of her lips tugged a little and she couldn't help but laugh. "No way... Now that... That was impressive."

"Yes way!" Leo loves seeing how amazed she is. It just makes him feel all the more awesome, and he just milks it up.

"It's a pretty rare gift, so I'm kind of a big deal." Just keep telling yourself that Leo, but he was important. Just. Not for that.

Well, stuff like that just isn't common where she comes from. "Well, damn, I'd say. I haven't ever seen something like that..."

That was definitely a reason to keep him close, to keep him wrapped around her finger. This kid would be a great ally to have, and she intended to keep him around for a long while.

"Well, maybe it's just not a thing in your world? But it sure is in mine." More grinning, because he really loves this kind of attention. Especially from her.

"None of my siblings have it. The fire thing, I mean. We can all build and make the most awesome stuff, but I'm the only one that can control fire."

"I guess it isn't...."

It could be, though. Seriously, if the Capitol got ahold of something like this. She glanced back at him, the grin tugging at her lips. "Then you're extra special, huh?"
