When I get older, I will be stronger [Open]
Date and Time: Afternoon of March 22nd
Location: The Training Room
Characters: Asuka, Open
Summary: Asuka kicks afootball soccer ball around for no particular reason.
Warnings: None (yet).
Ever since her conversation with Utena about sports and possibly starting something it had been hovering at the forefront of her mind. Then it had turned from a random idea into a reality after she'd discovered a somewhat battered soccer ball in one of the stores in the market. Sure, it had cost a bit, but it was worth it - it gave her something to do. Even indoors. And surely the Initiative wouldn't complain too much about her using the open space for something physical, right?
Besides, if they did, Asuka wasn't going to listen anyway.
She bounced the ball off of the floor idly. The room was mostly empty right now, so it seemed as good a time as any to give this a shot. She dribbled the ball across the room, then back and gave it a little chip with her toes, sending the ball spinning into the air. She ducked under it and gave it a bump with her head. She'd intended to send it up again, but it knocked off at an awkward angle.
"Hey! Heads up!"

"Hey! Heads up!"

There's another one of his exhales, and then he's resting his right temple against his knuckles. Eyes slipping back closed, he's about five seconds away from falling back into heavy slumber. That hand of hers is going ignored, if he even noticed it in the first place.
"That right?" It's a lazy drawl, a verbal drag of feet through mud. About two beats later-- "How much?"

"You can't just blow up my football and then act like it never happened!"

Personal space was one of those things he only paid attention to up to a certain point. So he finds nothing wrong with how, when his eyes peel back open with herculean effort, he's staring at her from what should be a socially uncomfortable (lack of) distance.
After another pause to gather his thoughts, it's straight to the point with no guilt at all, "Money's not with me."

She's starting to work herself up into a real tizzy, it seems. The sheer nerve of him to destroy her property - and she'd been enjoying it, too!

Only, she was also making it quite obvious that she wasn't all that keen on backing off. Over a damn ball of all things. Aah, whatever. Guess he'll just have to deal with it--
"Got a phone?"

Her expression shifts to suspicion, "Why?"

"Izumo Kusanagi." A pause. "Call him."
Which amounted to pushing the problem onto someone else. Yep.

Now Asuka just looked confused. She folded her arms, still giving him a long (if puzzled) glare.

"Still want those credits?" Only half a question, approaching rhetorical. He wouldn't be at all offended if she suddenly decides to give up on her crusade.
