( open ) I seen the sun coming up at the funeral at dawn
Date & Time: Current
Location: Northern part of the city
Characters: Ygritte and open
Summary: Gathering supplies
Warnings: None?
She had said for awhile now she was heading North, but enough had happened to get in the way. Being in her own body again meant she could at least try and plan for the journey. She couldn't explain her need to do it other than it was the only piece of home she really had. It was the only thing that made her remotely happy.
These weren't her people, and while she liked a few, it was hard enough explaining her ways to them. Her ways were the old ways, the old gods. The ones not even here with no heart tree in sight. With it's metal buildings and it's modern technology. Ygritte didn't much like any of it.
So she found herself trading for dried meats. If she could get a horse it'd be even better. That's what she wanted before she made that kind of a journey, something to take her there and back again. She didn't much trust engines either.

He follows, curious.

"That could be arranged," he says, lightly. Everything always seems like half a joke, with him. But he does pause to look around at her supplies, notes how thorough she's being.

"Aye? I bet you don't take so well to losing," she told him, as she leaned back into his touch. She was mostly lining up the canned goods and dried meat away from the fire.

"Wouldn't know. I never lose."
