Summary: Welcome to the grand opening of the Usual Place Movie Theatre! Tonight we're showing a mostly faithful rendition of Crank as restored by Billy, with refreshments available at minimal cost via Charlie's ingenuity and Collette's general statement that no movie is complete without access to popcorn. Please enjoy the show!
Warnings: Crank is a ridiculous film if you've ever seen it. That is technically PG-13/R, but the log itself should be much more tame!
Notes: Action, prose, or gif-spam each other at will. Just have fun with the first up and running movie theatre in Exsilium since goodness knows when!

Weirdo's, huh? [His moment of contemplation is over as he clasped his hands together with a bright smile.] Well where's the fun in being like everyone else?

Heh. I agree with that, but this is beyond bein' different. I don't wanna be different to the point where I don't belong anywhere.

[There was a tilt of his head at that. Sohki was much in the same position, but unlike Johnny, he much preferred to not belong anywhere.]

Aaa the young. It is quite difficult at that age.

[Skeptically:] How old're you?

Me? It's been so long since I've thought about it. [He paused a moment before lifting up a hand and counting off his fingers for show as he thought. A moment later, his closed-eyed expression brightened.] A little over three thousand years old, give or take. Unless, of course, you don't count my soul as a whole and just this current body I house which then makes it close to three hundred.

Three th-- [He wants to argue, but with all different kinds of people here in Exsilium, for all Johnny knows this guy is right.]

That's nuts. Your soul? You, like, reincarnated or somethin'?

I do look good for my age, don't I? [Granted, what you're seeing is just an illusion hiding what he really is.]

I have often, actually! When my current form expires, I am reborn into a new one.

Yes it is~ [He answered the question Johnny had internally instead of his verbal one. In the next moment, his human form had disappeared, and in its place was that of what looked to be a unicorn. He was smaller than an average horse, the height of his shoulders only reaching a grown adult's hip, as his two hooves were draped over the back of his seat while he peered at the half-demon.] Why this, of course!

[Johnny blinks at him in surprise. That was about the last thing he was expecting.]

Yer... a unicorn. Seriously?

Kirin. [The correction was said with complete mirth.] A unicorn pales to the greatness of my species~

I do, yes~ [His long tail swished from side to side as he spoke.] Do you have Japan, or even China, in your world?

Oh, yeah, totally. I'm from America, but yeah. Why, is that where uni-- kirins come from?

My kind originates from those lands, but my tribe originated within Japan.

Is there a lotta kirins? And I'm guessin' that whole thing where ya can't see unicorns unless yer pure or whatever don't work with you guys, huh?

There are only a small number of us. [The world would be out of balance with too many!

The question did have him chuckling while he turned back to his human form.] We have no interest in virgins, if that's what you mean~ we aren't a shy race, but the human race does not understand, so we move hidden among them.

Did you know that entire countries would go to war to get a kirin to favour their leader?
