Warnings: Uuuuuh idk lots of gross sick people. Dying! Sad teenagers and friends!

The virus is spreading, and even the Dan is catching it. And so are their friends. This is whatever they decide to do during June while sick. Prose and action spam friendly!

[Like death, Leader. He's curled on the couch with a cup of tea in hand, feet up and tucked close because his stomach is feeling a little queasy on top of everything else, too. He's dressed in his usual shirt and jacket, but the khaki pants have been replaced with sweats.

He's obviously unwell, but there's still enough in him to instinctively reject the idea of causing more trouble for Kido than she's forcibly making him. He looks up at her, then glances away with a mumbled answer]

I'm fine...

Heh... I'm not here to hover, promise. [Though she would if she could.] It's nice to have someone worry over you, even if it's irritating, too.

[Kido reaches up and ties her hair back into a ponytail.] Have you tried holding down anything?

That doesn't really count as an answer at all from you.

I can still eat soup, and tea, too. [He hasn't tried solid food, but the mere thought of getting it down his throat makes him feel nauseous, though he doesn't tell Kido that. He watches her tie her hair for a moment but lowers his head tiredly; holding it up is exhausting. He would lower his feet, too, but being stretched out sounds terrible, too.]

You really don't have to do this.

I am! I'm trying to find some items for soup since that will be the easiest to have if any of us get sick. How are you?

[So, liquids only. Even if medicine won't help, he has to keep his body as strong as possible. If she soaked some bread in soup or crackers, would that help...?

She pauses at his comment.]

Yeah, I know. I'm not doing it out of obligation. [It's called friendship, Shintaro.] Have you had some soup today yet? Do you feel feverish?

[She watches in silence as Kaworu checks her brother's temperature, her lips quirking slightly in a smile when he jumps. Trust his reactions to remain the same in the end, regardless of his health.

Momo walks into the kitchen then, still smiling.] Ahaha, a little. But I'll be fine!

My brother's right though. You should be careful you don't catch it, too!

Do you want me to take Shiro-san off of your hands for now so you can rest?

... I've had the fever for a few days. We don't -- I dont' think we have anything to measure the temperature with. [He did have soup, he thinks. Just a little bit this morning, but he wonders if he could even hold it down right now.

Regardless, Kido looks intent on using the kitchen and his tea is growing colder anyway. He slides his feet down from the couch and slowly starts to get up.]

If it's not obligation, what is it, Leader-san?

Taking care of Shiro isn't a lot of trouble. I don't want you to have something else to worry about in case any of your three catch it.

[Asch is far too independent - having someone hover makes it feel like he isn't expected to take care of himself, and it chafes.]

[She supposes she'll just have to do the old-fashioned way. Kido walks up to him and presses her hand to his forehead.]

Well... It's what you do, isn't it? For a friend. [Despite everything, she feels just a hint of shyness saying it outright.] ...Heh, sorry but you'll have to accept me worrying about you sometimes. Think of it as a leader duty if it sits better with you.

[She knows hikineets are weird about people after all. She pulls her hand back.] You can sit. I'll make you something and get you a cool cloth.

[She sighs as she sits down at the end of his bed.] He's really sick. His immune system is bad. Back home, he stayed shut inside for two years. I don't think he went outside at all the whole time so... I'm not sure how well he's going to do through this.

June 9th; Unit 502

[His own illness's gotten worse over the past few days, but it doesn't stop him from making rounds and acting as though he's perfectly fine. He's brought some fruits with him--those always help, don't they?--as he makes the walk up to unit 502. By the time he gets there he's out of breath and his throat burns.

He knocks on the door, a croak to his voice even though he tries to sound as cheerful and energetic as he can.]

Hello, hello! Have you been doing well?

[There's a weak nod, about all he can manage at the moment.]

It makes sense. A weaker body is more vulnerable to things like this.

June 10th; Unit 502

[He normally wouldn't be one to proactively seek a friend, but since the mission and the past few disappearances he's grown a need to see them to assure himself that they're still there. It'd be rude of him to arrive unannounced, so he sent a text ahead of time. Getting sick isn't a concern of his--he already feels a little feverish but it's nothing that he can't push through.

Softly he knocks.]

[ Well, good thing Keith doesn't have to worry about cooking very much! Kaede is on her way to the door as it opens, her hands wrapped up in a kitchen towel. Her face goes from curious — who is visiting this time? — to a relaxed expression with a smile. She tosses the towel on her shoulder as she lifts a hand up. ]
