The virus is spreading, and even the Dan is catching it. And so are their friends. This is whatever they decide to do during June while sick. Prose and action spam friendly!

["Okay" is one way to put it, Momo, Shintaro thinks when he can, somewhat, make out what she's saying to Kano at the door. He'd just blinked away from an exhausted sleep a moment ago, so he's still curled up in his bed. But being awake reminds his body that it's sick, so he only has a second of restfulness before he has to take a breathe, which causes him to cough. So much for resting.]

Pfft, you sound like a bullfrog. [Even though he has no right to say that, since his own voice was heading that direction. He offers the basket of fruits to Momo as he glances over her shoulder.]

Here, here. The strangest looking ones are supposed to be the best for you. Stuff yourselves, all right?

[She cracks a smile at the comment, taking the basket from Kano as she pushes the door open further. She quickly puts on a sterner face, although it's halfhearted at best.]

You don't sound that much better, Kano! Have you been eating them, too? You've gotta get better, too.

[While Momo's berating Kano for the fruits, Shintaro pulls himself out of the bed and out the room, tiredly pulling the jacket over his shoulders.]

... Kano.

[He coughs once after calling the visitor's name.]

[He waves off her concern. He's fine, really...!]

Don't worry. Kido's been feeding me so much medicine that my tongue turned bitter. I probably can't taste them anyway.

[He leans over to peer at Shintaro. He didn't sound any better than any of them, it seems.]

Ah, so the elusive Shintaro emerges. Don't mention it. Consider this a special delivery.

You should eat some anyway, [she says shortly, moving slightly closer to her brother as Kano looks over him.]

As much as the medicine Leader's been giving you.

I'm not elusive. [He glances at Momo as she comes closer, looking at the fruits Kano brought. It's not that he thinks they're inedible, but...]

What are they?

[Ah, he's being pestered about the medicine again. Kano rubs the back of his neck, grinning.]

Eeh, did Kido tell you to say that too? [To Shintaro:] Isn't it obvious? They're fruits!

[Well, most of them did. Some looked like bizarre art.]

[eyecaptivating]

[She shakes her head, hands balled into fists at her hips.]

No, Leader didn't tell me. But you still should! It doesn't matter if they're bitter. [Gosh, Kano, why do bitter things bother you anyway, gosh.]

[He looks suspiciously at the bizarre looking "fruits" as he picks one out of the basket gingerly. He thinks it's going to sprout legs and crawl up his arm at any mom-- he drops the fruit at the thought, rounding on Kano.]

The temporary leader's acting like a kid? That's real reliable.

[He holds up his hands as if telling them to relax.] Hey, hey, this scolding isn't fair when you two are ganging up on me! I've been eating whatever Kido feeds me like the good child I am. The temporary leader can't get too sick.

[Narrowing her eyes, she looks at him silently, before finally nodding.]

Just make sure you get better!

[Shintaro nods in agreement with his sister, picking one normal-looking fruit and holding it up.]

The temporary leader should be more responsible and eat all his fruits.

[He quickly waves his hands...!]

No, no, I can't do something as irresponsible as eating gifts meant for you two~ Kido would murder me~ You should both enjoy it between yourselves!

[She glances at the fruit Shintaro's holding, then back at the basket.]

You can still have one of them. Don't have you any more?

[He sighs, moving over to a wall so he can lean on it. It's exhausting to stand.]

You better. And you should still eat some fruits.

[He submits in defeat with a sigh and holds out his hand to accept the fruit.]

It seems like being sick's turned both of you into mother hens as well.

[eyecaptivating]

Mother hens?! [A huff and a shake of her head.]

We've all just gotta get better. That's all! We can't do anything like this!

[Shintaro puts the fruit firmly in Kano's hand.]

What she said. Besides, you should lead by example.

[He shrugs, turning for the door.] Fine, fine. Since you two persistently insist, I'll be sure to eat all the fruit I can lay my hands on!

[eyecaptivating]

[She watches him go for the door, but doesn't move from her spot.] And don't forget! If you get any more sick, I don't know if we can help take care of you.

You'd make a good monkey. Go find some bananas or something.

I'll take care of myself, don't worry. When I drop by next time, I'll be sure to bring a barrel of bananas for your brother, Kisaragi!

[...Okay, you got her there, Kano. She giggles, quickly stifling the sound behind her hand.]

Ah, you should bring two!
