The virus is spreading, and even the Dan is catching it. And so are their friends. This is whatever they decide to do during June while sick. Prose and action spam friendly!

There's a Transport-run clinic... I can show you where it is. I think most of the hospitals are busy around this time.

I'd imagine so. [People are already dead from it, after all. Shintaro doesn't say that out loud, or voice his dislike of hospitals to Shinji either.]

I want to tell Momo before I go; if I'm still sick at the end of the week, do you mind showing me?

You don't have to do anything. But it'll be nice to know that there's someone.

[He blinks at that. It's a responsibility he hadn't intended to take on, to be honest. But it'd be wrong to refuse. And he understands--it's a brother looking out for his sister, like Toji had looked after Sakura. So he gives a slow nod.]

Aah, but really, don't worry too much. As long as Kido and Kano don't collapse... [a pause. bakano would probably collapse eventually.] She's got some contacts, I guess.

[Ah, the mention of this Kido person again.] You and your friends seem like you've settled well here.

I got here with my sister last month, but the other two've been here for a few months now. I don't know how it was for them, but they helped us settle in, so we had an easier time.

Kido's kind of a mom, so... it helped.

Is she taking care of the both of you, too?

Yeah. She came all the way over here and made some soup a few days ago. I guess she felt obligated to.

[That's more reassuring to hear.] ... I think you and your sister will be fine, then.

[He smiles, though tiredly.]

I told you, you don't have to do too much.

If you have so many people taking care of you... you should be getting better soon.

[And as sudden as that expression was, it's gone. Shinji straightens up, doing his best to muster an unimpressed look.]

I don't know what you're talking about... [He stands up.] Sure.

[Shintaro almost looks a little disappointed at that, but he just laughs a tiny laugh, like he'd just watched a dog run headfirst into a window or something.]

I'll go get you some, then.

[He stands to head to the kitchen. After sitting for a while he's wobbly on his feet at first, but he won't fall.]
