Summary: Holding a dinner so we can all get to know each other, this should end terribly.
Warnings: F for food?!

[This month's haul of transports seemed to bring in a lot of familiar faces for the residents of 103. Friends, family, comrades, terrifying generals who are your boss now- all sorts! ]

[It was Sophie's idea to hold a dinner. A dinner of family, for everyone to have a chance to meet each other and get to know each other better. It seemed like a nice way to welcome everyone into this horrible war. But hey, food! And so, Allen and Sophie made sure to invite their friends, family and comrades in order to have a warm evening together]

[And Kaneis, well, at least he isn't climbing out the back window at the prospect of social interaction for hours. This my friends, is progress. ]

[But gather around friends and family and terrifying boss! There's food, people, wine and games to be had! Just you know, try not to cough in it you sick jerks]

[Is very busy and has been most of the afternoon. Seriously this is a lot of mouths to feed and some of you seem to eat for three! Want to help out? Get in the way? Try to sneak some food before dinner? Come on in! ]

DINING TABLE...FLOOR....COUNTERS

[wilder]

[Okay so there was as slight oversight in the fact that there are way more people coming to this thing than there are chairs or room at the table, so some of you may be eating on the floor or the kitchen counter! Unless you want to bring your own chair of course]

[Either way, there's more than enough food to feed everyone. Most of it is pretty good tasting too (most...)! So eat up, chat with your neighbors, and have a nice meal!]

[And for those of you adults worried? There is totally wine and ale. Don't worry]

LIVING ROOM

[Okay so maybe after the meal (or before it) you decide to hang out in the living room! It's not too different from the living rooms given in any other apartment, but it's a nice area to hang out. If you're interested there's playing cards, chess, and whatever other games people could get a hold of.]

BEDROOMS

[wilder]

[Need some privacy? You could probably slip into one of the bedrooms. Though seriously, talk about rude. Get out of there. And you better have pants on when you leave!]

[ Like hell wine is for adults only. She brought a bottle with her to the floor where she found a place to sit. She's quiet mostly, listening in on conversations without giving the impression she is. The girl is quick to rescue her plate and cup when someone walks by, peering up while she chews. She offers a smile to everyone; nothing lost testing the waters. ]

[ Food + drink + 11-year-old = sleep. Which is exactly what one tuckered out little girl is doing on Allen's bed. Only the top half of her head is visible. She's curled up into a ball under the covers, hogging all his pillows. No one is sorry, Allen. ]

[How about a smile for a cute, small monkey with a piece of bread in hand? Lau Jimin creeps over, giving Arya a curious look-over before sitting down next to her to chew on his bread.]

[Well it was safe to say that this was one of the largest social gathering Kaneis had attended since, well, he died. Not only that, but the ones he did attend before? Tended to be much more formal parties in the royal courts where the point was less have fun so much as survive the night with all your skin intact. Nor was this really like hanging out at the taverns and getting drunk with random women and men he'd probably never learn the name of. No. This was dinner with friendship and he wasn't sure what to make of that. He seriously has no idea what's going on or what to do here. ]

[But don't worry, Kaneis can adapt. After dinner is finished he makes sure to sit in an armchair not necessarily part of the main social scene, but definitely not far enough away to be noticeable. He's got a glass of wine with him and all and all...seems to be trying to see if he could be overlooked as an extension of the armchair]

[Because seriously, people suck. ]

[ She did adopt Tim so. The monkey gets a genuine smile, just a little upward quirk to her lips. She continues eating peacefully. After a while, she offers him some of the non-meat portions of her meal. She holds her hand out for him to take them from her. ]

[Seles is honestly not sure what all of this commotion is, but she's only ashamed to be so ill so... doesn't really want to go out of the room.

But if you hear the coughing and hacking and nearly dying sounding noises coming from Zelos' room, that would be his darling sister, who's hiding under covers despite her fever. Anyone who comes in can attempt to communicate, though.]

( sneaking into the kitchen! though mostly to peek at what all's being made and say hello to whomever's doing the preparing! )

[Which of course, Zelos will come in to check on her at some point in the evening. Because eff you guys, sister is why. So poking his head into the door- that cough sounds horrendous]

Seles?

[wilder]

[and Zelos will be in there, working on something that looks like a salad! Glances over at that kid, he seems slightly familiar but he hasn't placed from where yet]

Hm?

[hiddendepth]

[A mass moves under the blankets. It takes a moment for her to gain her voice back, but she manages a muffled response.]

Yes?

[wilder]

[Jeez this looks bad. He'll come into the room, closing the door behind him so the noise outside is muffled for her. Then coming closer to the bedside]

Would asking how you're feeling be a stupid question?

[scarred]

[He perks up at the offer and sets down his bread for what she has. Inching closer he goes back to eating happily, all the while scanning the room for something. Or someone.

After a moment he looks back to Arya and then around her to see if she has a drink out that he can snag a sip from.]

[At some point, Allen finally breaks away from the group and slips into his room. It's not that he minds the company, exactly, but he could use a... reprieve.

And surely nobody would have actually gone into his private bedroom.

With a sigh, he flips on the light, quietly shuts the door behind him and wanders towards his bed—

AND THEN YELPS. OH GOD THERE'S SOMETHING UNDER HIS COVERS.]

[ it's not moving. maybe it wants to eat him. maybe it's just biding its time. poke it with a stick, allen. see what happens. ]

I think it's more than apparent how I'm feeling right now.

[Still muffled, and she doesn't mean to come off so harsh, but she really is feeling miserable. ...Still, she recognizes it, and so she adds more on a short few seconds later.]

Is everyone still here?

[wolfchild]

[ The girl laughs. ]

Are you looking for something? What do you want?

[wilder]

Heh, okay. Stupid question then.

[Definitely his sister and her tsundere. He'll let it slide though because honestly? Who wouldn't be snippy like this]

Yeah...but if they're being too loud for you I can see if I can find my earplugs for you.

[You tend to have a lot of those with his hearing]

No, that's-- [She frowns to herself, shifting slightly under the covers to try and peek out and over to her brother.] ...My ears don't feel well, either.

[She doesn't imagine having anything in them would be favorable. Besides, she likes to eavesdrop when possible... She certainly can't fall asleep after all this resting.]

I don't mean to bother you while you're having people over.

[wilder]

Those too, huh?

[Jeez, this illness really was bad. It almost seemed like something far more than a typical flu. It was worrying, so very worrying]

[Even if that gets a scoff]

Please, what do I care? They aren't my friends.

[hiddendepth]

[There's just a quiet hum to let him know yes, her ears too, and she shifts more so her whole head is out of the covers. Before she was sweaty and uncomfortable, and now the chill of open air is somehow even worse-- there's no happy medium here.

But that last part? It gets a very surprised glance.]

They're not?

[poor little Seles. He'll meanwhile move to sit in that chair he set up next to her]

Nah. Remember I got roommates? Well some of them are Sophie and Cheria's family and friends- and the others are Allen's comrades and friends.

Seems a bunch of them showed up this month.
