They thought that trips to Alaska and getting shots would be the beginning of a relaxing break. Instead they got quarantines and bombs and people getting mad at them. Big. Sigh.

[It's after he's taken Momo -- and most like Ene, too -- to meet up with the rest of the dan that he turns right around and runs off, telling them that he has some people to find but he'll be back. It's reckless, he would never have done it a few weeks ago, he thinks. A few weeks ago he would've grabbed Momo and kept her safe in the basement. But he has people he wants to find right now, or feels that he must find them. He's looking for red scarves and blue twintails and boys with earbuds although he doubts the kid has them in right now. Either way he's not watching where he's going, weaving through the crowd as much as quickly as he can, and he rams straight into someone.

Bounces back, right onto the ground, from the force of it and scrapes his elbow on the ground. Ow...]

S-sorry! I didn't mean to-- [He scrambles to pick himself up, blinking sweat from his eyes as he looks up at who he bumped into and-- ]

... Seto?

[With the way that he blinks and turns around to see what hit him, one would think that Seto is more than slightly used to being slammed into. The assumption honestly isn't that far off. Maybe it's just a Dan thing.]

Hey, it's Shintaro-san! I knew you'd be around here somewhere!

["Around here" meaning....? In any case, with a bright grin that doesn't suit the situation even slightly, he extends a hand in spite of the fact that Shintaro is probably already on his feet again by now.]

[He's almost up but he takes Seto's hand anyway. Seto was reliable. It was easy to accept small helps from guys like him, and he blinks in confusion at the Frogman that he didn't know was here. He doesn't look that confused... but maybe Seto's always like this. Mr. Refreshing. Ugh, ikemens.]

W-what do you mean, you knew? Where did you come from?!

Ene-san bumped into me a while ago and said that she'd already talked to you. Maybe you two are more alike than you thought! [HARDLY.]

[Uwah, Seto's a nice guy but he says some horrifying stuff doesn't he? Shintaro blinks some more before grimacing.]

As if! Anyway, Seto, it's great to see you but as you can see, it's not safe. You should go meet up with Kido and Kano...

They're here too? I had no idea! [No, really. He didn't.] I got lost for a while and then helped out with volunteer work, so I haven't had time to look back at old posts on the network.

That'd be great! But do you think it's okay for me to stop volunteering? I can also help you look for your friends if you want.

[Anything Seto does probably looks and sounds cooler than reality.]

I think it would help, if you know where they were and they knew you were here, too. [He can't trouble Seto with the task of looking for his friends, though.]

[He's so agreeable. Shintaro nods, and turns to start leading Seto toward the building where everyone else is at.]

Seriously, though, when did you get here?

Earlier in the month? [AT.... SOME POINT. Getting lost is fun.]

Where have you been living?

I was living in temporary housing for a while, but since someone moved out of their apartment, I got switched to room 601. What about you and everyone else?

Kido and Kano are in 202. Momo and I are at 502, and Ene decided to crash there, too.

That's pretty close, huh? Actually, I haven't met my roommates yet. [l o l]

Exploring and volunteering! [It's the truth.]

O-oh, okay. Well, I don't know you all that well but I guess it does sound like something you'll do. Have you been okay?

Yeah, just fine! Even though I've been helping everyone out, I haven't gotten sick yet, y'know? I'm pretty lucky!

I got sick, and.. [died and came back] I got better. Everyone but Ene also got sick, but thanks to the vaccine everyone's doing better now.

[With a soft sigh, he steps around a crowd and points down an alleyway.] Let's take a shortcut.

That quick? Are you sure you're alright? [Well.... he looks it, at least.]

It's a long story. I'll tell you later when we're safer. Did you get a vaccine yet?

[While on the move is not a good time to explain to Seto about Exsilium's 24 hour deaths. He nods as he makes sure Seto is following, and when they get through the alleyway they're in a bigger but less crowded street.]

Everyone's at this guy's hose. His name is Asch. He offered us a place to hide in his basement.

Yeah, they made me get one before I volunteered. It's a good thing I did!

That's really nice of him. So the whole Dan's there?
