Summary: Sheena's checking in like she promised.

[It's kind of late. Sheena knows this, but she doesn't really care. She hesitates before knocking quietly on the door to Zelos' apartment. Hopefully she can catch him before he's left for the night shift. If not, she'll just leave the food and go, and they can talk later. Or never.

But... there's something nagging at her. She hasn't been entirely reasonable with him lately, and this is the best she can do for an apology.

Her grip on the edges of the covered bowl tightens slightly. She looks to the side, waiting for someone to answer the door.]

[fujibayashi]

Of course I didn't know! You never tell me anything!

[She never tells him anything either but that's neither here nor there.]

Emil knew! So I thought maybe the other Zelos might've mentioned it or something...!

[fujibayashi]

[She shakes her head.] I haven't even seen the first year of the world regeneration! We're friends but we didn't exactly--

-- Wait, just how much could you hear? I was right on the other side of the wall! For months!

[I SANG IN THE SHOWER]

I tried not to listen! I mean most of the time there's so much noise from the rest of the floor it's hard to pick out anything!

[fujibayashi]

[So that's why Colette wanted to talk to her outside of the building. Sheena didn't quite understand it at the time, but... it makes sense now.]

I bet you're going to say that you can see through walls next, too.

[wilder]

[a sigh!]

I wish. My eyes are really good, but nothing like that!

[fujibayashi]

Do you even realize how disgusting you are?

Hey, I'm just being honest! You get some seriously weird sounds going on and it'd be nice to get a visual to know what's happening!

And oh yeah, who doesn't have a few people in mind they'd want to see naked?

[... yeah she's throwing another coaster, this time at his head.]

[And it hits him in the head]

Owww! C'mon! It's not like I can actually see through walls!

[a sigh] Okay, okay.

[He'll lean forward and prop his arm up against the table, resting his chin in his hand, and just...look at Sheena with bedroom eyes and a smirk]

[fujibayashi]

[She is not prepared for the sheer amount of dirty that look contains. Zelos has not looked at her like that before, even when he's checking her out in whatever outfit she has to wear this time. At least, he hasn't looked at her like that when she could notice. She turns the color of her obi and continues to redden even beyond that, her fingers tightening in the fabric of her tunic.]

W-- wh-- why are you looking at me like that!?

[wilder]

[Yep. Totally worth it]

I can't say. Keeping thoughts to myself, you know?

[Hell hath no wrath like a tsundere's fury. She is pretty worked up and about to leave, or at least throw a toaster at him.

Why the toaster? Why not? It was in arm's reach.]

I can't believe you! There's a child living in this apartment!

[wilder]

[My god don't throw a toaster at him Sheena you'll get him sent to the hospital with severe head trauma]

What? She's not here right now! It's not like I say anything like this when she is! [RUDE SHEENA]

[She's still holding onto that toaster. SHE'S rude? YOU'RE THE ONE GIVING BEDROOM EYES WITHOUT CONSENT.]

[wilder]

[PUT DOWN THAT TOASTER!! ]

Hey hey hey- I never said anything about you being a piece of meat! I just looked at you! Now could you put down my toaster?!

[fujibayashi]

That was not 'just looking'! That was-- that was... I don't even know what that was but it was something!

[She glances at the toaster, then back at him.]

I'll put down the toaster when you stop being so damn infuriating!

[wilder]

[...Yeah, he won't explain what that look was. But wow way to get her worked up what gives]

Okay okay, I won't look at you like that again! Now come on, no need to throw appliances!

[fujibayashi]

[She's pretty sure she knows what that look was, and the fact he even tried to send it her way is kind of terrifying.

It's not an apology, but she doesn't really want to deal with his whining about a head injury on top of everything else. She takes a breath to calm herself, eventually setting the toaster back down on the counter. She even takes the time to plug it into the wall.]

You're so dumb sometimes.

[Oh good, terrible head injury and need to buy new appliance averted. Which one would've been worse in Zelos's opinion is debatable]

You know, you keep saying that lately and I'm still not getting why...
