CLOSED.
Date & Time: July 9th
Location: Courtyard.
Characters: Starting with Lavi & Collette, later joined by the lovely Yu Kanda, Tyki Mikk and (eventual cameo appearance of) Oz Vessalius.
Summary: Lavi returns to Exsilium after a horrendous visit home and needs some help.
Warnings: gross eyeball parasites, hands being stuck in bodies and deals being made with unsavory people??
[ It's a miracle he hasn't passed out by now, really. Not only was he in excruciating pain thanks to whatever the hell they put inside him, but Sheril flinging him into a wall hadn't helped matters nor had the sudden flood of memories upon his abrupt arrival back into Exsilium. It's all rather overwhelming to say the least, but it's with stubborn tenacity that he clings to consciousness. He needs to get to his comrades— if they were still here, that is. He has no way of telling how long he's been gone for and it's not a thought he can afford to linger on either way. Not when he's only barely capable of thought.
Unfortunately it's perhaps two steps he manages to take (more like stumble) into the courtyard before he collapses against the nearest wall, sliding right back into a slumped seat, panting for breath. He wasn't going to go anywhere like this any time soon.

The tension in his grip slacks away some, he almost strokes at Lavi's angry face with his fingers. Enjoying.]
You sure know how to sweeten a deal, eh, Exorcist? [A Bookman's favor isn't to be sniffed at! Even the favor of a Bookman Junior.]
Well... if it's like that, I'll see what I can do.

She doesn't need to mention anything further to Lavi, but does regardless. )
< I have a lot of questions for you, mister, when you're feeling better. >
( She keeps her mental tone light, helped by her smiling as she looks toward Lavi's face. It's not the she thinks he can see her, or see her as Caesar, smiling off to his side. It just helps her sound as light and teasing as she wants to sound. )
Be careful.
( Light words, delivered by a voice that does speak lightly, for different reasons. Collette made an absolutely terrible stand in for Caesar.
It's difficult to determine which of the three of them she may actually be addressing her words to. But she waits, and as she waits she snakes a hand back out to rest against Lavi, needing the physical contact as much as she wants him to be grounded when Tyki does whatever it is he'll be doing to remove the parasite. )

He has no idea what Tyki would ask of him in return, but a Bookman's favor at the very least meant knowledge. Complete impartial knowledge, a summation of facts. Essentially a peek into records no other being was allowed to look at. And if that is what Tyki would ask for, Lavi would give it, impartial and true. If he didn't die, Bookman would surely kill him for that alone, but Bookman's not here and right now Lavi's very much in the mindset to say screw it. Screw it all. He's only Bookman Junior and it's become apparent that he knows nothing of the important things so why does it matter? It's almost like a petty revenge, really. Although all the same, he's sure he'll come to regret this, but there's just no other way. Collette's voice in his head almost makes him want to laugh.
You and Yu both.
He'd owe it to them, later. For now getting the dammed thing out took priority before it killed him or worse, exploded and took out more than just him. He taps his chest, his right side just where the center of his right lung is, where the pain is most intense and seems to radiate from. ]
It's there.
[ With that pointed out, he lets his body go slack, too exhausted to even stay tense. He's very much at Tyki's mercy here — but perhaps not entirely. Kanda's by his side and if Tyki decides to go for his heart instead . . . well then Lavi could die assured there would be hell to pay. He's prepared to face this burden alone, but Collette's touch makes it so he doesn't have to and he takes quiet comfort in that despite himself.
He tilts his head back as far as he can, eye falling on Kanda for a brief apologetic look that can't convey enough before he's closing his eye with a soft exhale. Let's get this over with. ]

If the word of caution Collette had given was intended for him, as much as it was for Tyki, it goes unacknowledged as he levels his weight, moves to hover nearer in silent reminder. Hell to pay was an accurate assurance, if things took the turn for the worst. He took out a Noah once before ( a fact Tyki is unaware of, just as Kanda is equally unaware of the Noah's timeline ).
With jaw harshly set and chin raised high, Kanda watches. ] Just give me a reason, Noah. [ It's clipped and low, though not entirely a threat as much as simply a statement. To ascertain his vanguard presence by Lavi's side.
( He won't do anything if you won't! )]
