Date & Time: Evening, 10th February 3312

Summary: Everyone is brought into the transport room at roughly the same time, in a great succession and flow of imported individuals. Everyone is being lead around in small bundles, or left to their own devices together inside the Initiative Hold.
Warnings: None.

Widespread and crowded, everyone is being transported into this unusually bright room with an efficiency that is almost horrifying. One after the other, new people are appearing -- being led, shown around and then ultimately abandoned with one final phrase; "Good luck."

The Initiative Hold is wide, like a small town in its depth and industry. You've received your weapon; you've got your keys, your netbook, and one of those robed strangers has shoved a small pouch full of what you can only assume is money into your open palm. You've been given an apartment, but where on earth -- are we on earth? -- is it? Your best opportunity right now is to mingle; at least, that's what everyone else appears to be doing. Those strangers in the robes have left. They're tending to the people who are arriving, one by one and in a quick procession. Energy bustles all around you, as you're strapped up with your sudden gifts and looking around.

Hey, maybe you'll even see some familiar faces.

[ Charles certainly does notice, after a while. He may or may not have been doing a short scan about the room mentally; every once in a while, when he was able to make it through the bustling of voices and thoughts. He could certainly pick up similar traits, though he had not placed it -- not yet. When he turned and caught her eye, however, he looked entirely more fascinated.

[It was almost as if she had been waiting for him to notice her and she flashes more fang as her smile widens.]

Nice sword.

[ Charles only looks fascinated -- maybe momentarily uneasy -- with the girl's fangs. He takes a step closer, though not uncomfortably so. ]

I've grown rather fond. Did you find something interesting, yourself?

[Equally fascinating is her right which appears to have eight pupils. Vriska doesn't move when he steps closer. Admittedly she's curious too. All these humans in one place is something she hasn't ever seen before. She was use to just watching the one human totter around from place to place under her expert guidance.]

Maaaaaaaaybe. [The way she drawls out the syllables seems awfully precise.] Maybe I got myself the most powerful weapon of them all. I don't buy it that it's suppose to be alive, though.

[ Charles chuckles in reply, and bows his head for a second. When he glances back up to her, he nods -- his expression of interest never waning for even a moment in his intrigue. ]

Yes, that's rather a thing to see to be believed. I'm not certain how much stock I would put into these--these strangers' words.

[Vriska seems a little disinterested herself. Occasionally she glances up, as if looking for someone or checking to make sure someone is still there. It could be both.]

They're kidding themselves if they think I'm going to fight for their cause.

[ Charles is hardly offended, though he does find it interesting. He makes a soft sound to acknowledge that they were still conversing in some way, and he looked interested as she continued to speak. ]

I imagine they have a plan, even if you do not wish to go along with them.

They'll be pretty disappointed, then.

[And she doesn't elaborate, she just smirks. She is going to give this place hell whenever the opportunity arises.]

[ But that's definitely enough to get Charles pretty curious. He's raising his eyebrows and taking a step closer, though not impossibly so. ]

Oh? Disappointed in what way?
