It's worth packing, usually - they don't take up much space. If you're in a pinch, the medical tape in the first aid kit is pretty sturdy.

[By which he means, if you're edging on wardrobe malfunction. He goes through an lot of shirts, he gets how it can be]

No, it'll be alright. It doesn't fray too much, special construction.

Smart. Is it armored at all?

A little, but not nearly as much as this stuff. [She taps one of her hard pink shoulder plates.]

The Initiative might have some armored bodysuits - probably nothing that can take a real major beating, but stuff that'll resist most scrapes and cuts.

[taijiya]

Hm, I guess I'll have to look into it, but... [She frowns, picks at a sleeve.] This is what I've always worn. It's sort of... special.

[It's more than just a suit; it's part of a culture she's the only one left to perpetuate.]

Don't toss it, then - but remember that you have to be prepared to lose anything you bring onto the battlefield. Material things aren't worth your life or the life of the people you're fighting alongside. [see also: why Nate doesn't name his weapons]

Of course. Perhaps I'm sentimental, but I'm not stupid.
