( closed to the kidnapped ) The Princess Peach Collective
Date & Time: August 31st - September 18th
Location: United Earth Holding Compound
Characters: Any and all characters kidnapped during the interim.
Summary: So you were walking around, minding your own business... and then you were in the UE. Welcome, friends! Please enjoy your stay. Try the coffee! It's fantastic! Better avoid the bread pudding, though... (Official Kidnappee Handbook is here!)
Warnings: Kidnapping/Normal gambit of medical tests/shots/reflex tests/bloodwork/etc. Please notify the mods if anything gets into explicit or upsetting territory.
Notes: Player created United Earth NPCs welcome to guest star. If you have questions regarding these, please ask the moderators. Remember, this is not a torture chamber. This is a scientific facility with military aptitude, and seeks to contain, not injure, its projects. (You are a project!)
Please start your threads with a date or timeframe in the subject line to indicate who may tag in, depending on their arrival!
Welcome to the United Earth Holding Compound. There may be an official name, but the workers never say: they all have their own names for it, and "home" is never one of them. Still, as you're left to wander the halls connecting your individual containment areas to the cafeteria of spartan design, and many automated food producers (along with an endless supply of green jello and fruit), you may begin to wonder what exactly this place is. Why would the United Earth have a sense of design?
(Because of scientists, someone might whisper, though you'll never figure out who.)
Mystery unanswered, it'll be apparent they do. Even the lounge area you have access to looks out upon an expanse of green -- one that you are allowed into, if the surrounding U of military buildings, with much less architectural flair, will steadily drive you back out if you're seen near them.
Make no mistake: your accommodations are minimal at best, laughably slapped together at the last minute at worst. Your showering and bathroom facilities are uni-sex, so the more modest amongst you may wish to figure out a schedule for guys and gals. Towels, sheets, and plenty of nice hospital gowns will be on offer; characters so interested may attempt to find the laundry facilities.
All the labs are state of the art, and the computers and such used by the United Earth far beyond what the Initiative has ever provided. The biggest downside for the Transports being held is the lack of ready entertainment. A few board games have been left in the common area, and a few decks of cards, but that's all.
Not even an e-book to read.
Have fun, Kidnapped Transports, and try not to play "spot all the security measures and all the air ducts" too too often, will you?

We've already got this far! ( up into the grate still in chrono's room. details. ) Come on, let's go.
no subject
Wait! Your buttons...
no subject
What about them?
no subject
Why are you wearing a fancy coat into an air vent in the first place... [DO RICH PEOPLE DO LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN FANCY CLOTHING...]
no subject
Wasn't it your idea to go into an air vent in the first place?
( okay, his good grace has its limits. )
no subject
I didn't tell you to wear a frock coat into it!
no subject
( or a change of clothes in the first place. or the five seconds it'd take to just maybe take off the coat but shhh. )
no subject
There's time now! Just take your coat off!
no subject
( he doesn't mean to get demanding, but really! it's a new coat! that gil brought from venice! and this is a ue air vent! )
no subject
[So dry.]
no subject
no subject
Adds 'appropriate ventilation shaft dress' to 'appropriate fire safety protocol' on the list of things to have a long conversation about with Oz Vessalius. As a footnote: smack Oz in the face if they get caught because of tacky gold accessories.]
Fine! Just be careful! And quiet! [HE SAYS QUITE LOUDLY.]
no subject
I will! You should too! ( HE SAYS MORE QUIETLY )
no subject
... He would stomp off to punctuate that if he weren't trapped behind Oz in an air vent.]
no subject
LUCKILY CURRENTLY THE ONLY DIRECTION THERE IS TO GO. until they inevitably hit an air vent crossway. )
no subject
Go left. I think.
[At least, he recalls multiple personnel-only doors branching in that direction, which implies the off-limits part of the compound sprawls that way. As long as they go far enough and find a good place to exit, surely...]
no subject
( and going left, which seems as rational as anything else. besides, chrono would know better than he does, at least have a sense of the building's layout even if he hasn't had any previous air vent adventures here.
clink! goes a few of his buttons. or maybe it's the cufflinks. )
no subject
After a moment of hesitation, Chrono pauses mid-crawl, feigning the tail of his braid caught in a metal seam. To be fair, it may only be a partial feint.] Ack- wait!
Could you lend me a hand?
no subject
( he pauses, looking backwards and seeing the problem. )
Oh, of course —
( and carefully moves backwards so he can reach out both hands towards his braid... )
no subject
Then
Snatches those wrists before Oz can withdraw them or free the braid. Just as deftly—with the finesse of someone who arms complicated holy grenades in seconds—he rips the gold accents off Oz's decorative sleeves. (Ignores a feral tug of satisfaction that he's still strong enough to break thread, if nothing else.)
When he shifts back, his braid flops over his shoulder with a conspicuous freedom of movement.]
Thanks!
no subject
HE'S BEEN HAD!!! )
What?
( not quiet at all. )
no subject
Shhhhh! We're on a stealth mission! [Hissed quietly, but does it really even matter anymore.]
no subject
(as if that's the first way they've compromised the stealth aspect of this mission)
thoroughly appalled, he pulls at chrono's hands and hisses back )
This was a new coat!
( not that it matters especially much even to him, given the circumstances, but it's hard to not be offended when he was tricked into having his cufflinks ripped out. but — fine, he stops to pull at the buttons going down his front, shucking off the coat after a moment and turning back to that left tunnel they'd chosen. there are more grates starting to come up, filtering light — and sound, voices — upwards now. )
no subject
(It's not like Oz can't just buy another one with his apparent mountains of money!!!)
Some of his attention shifts back to the matter at hand as they begin passing grates, and he pauses to press his ear to one, briefly. He pulls back, frowning over at Oz.]
Can you hear what they're saying?
no subject
It's muffled.
