Summary: Werewolves. On the Moon. Sounds like a B horror movie, doesn't it?

Notes:
This is a giant catch-all log for the wolf shenanigans on the moon. The log will be split into three top level comments:
Confrontation, for characters to run into Scott and Isaac separately and fight them/try to weaken them for containment/be mauled by them,
Containment, which will be closed to the characters doing the permanent containment, and
During Containment, which is for characters to interact with the wolves while they're incapacitated, but still twigging out- this is where possible solutions will be threaded out!

Moon Base FAQ!

And a quick note to all of our awesome volunteers! We had a ton of people respond to the plotting post, so in the interest of keeping timelines intact but making it inclusive, we settled on one actual capture scenario and opened up the confrontation section to any and all containment attempts. They won't be successful, but will still give us a chance to get some CR going!

Same applies to the during containment/solution thread. We'll probably select one "permanent" fix, but we can thread out all kinds of temporary fixes or attempted fixes in the meantime, so feel free to jump in!

Also, this was super well timed because Isaac-mun is going on a birthday road trip at the end of the week (I'll be gone until Saturday, sorry guys!), and Scott/Peter mun are both slammed by work so BACKTAGS MAY BE A THING THAT HAPPENS sorry guys ;w;

[ A woman in a strange black and red themed cowl appears when the others visiting have cleared out. She moves in quietly, like a ghost, but she expects a werewolf's senses to pick up on the movement. ]

[Isaac tilts his head up almost immediately when he smells her approach- leather and scented shampoo, swathed over a woman that he doesn't quite recognize, but something that he'd smelled on Peter after they had found one another again.

He looks toward her then, his eyes bright and yellow.]

[ He really doesn't look anything like Peter, which helps her conclude they're likely from a different world. Isaac and Scott -- Peter, as well -- look nothing like the werewolf she's unfortunately acquainted with.

If Abbot could be called a werewolf. For the most part, the True Believers were hybrids. ]

I'm going to ask you something once.

[Isaac shifts himself so his shoulders are pressed against the wall. For a moment, it almost looks like he hasn't heard her, but his eyes narrow slightly, and his gaze could possibly be considered- well, murderous contempt.

Or it could just be the eternally-pissed look that most werewolves have. It's sort of hard to tell.]

Ask.

[ There's no fear from her. She's faced down all sorts of strange beings before and in Isaac and Scott's cases, they were still boys in her eyes. She felt pity toward them, mostly. According to folklore, they're turned by being bitten. She imagines it can either make someone's life better or ruin it.

She lifts her head, as if to meet his eyes. ]

Do Abbot or the True Believers sound familiar?

[ If they are somehow connected, these boys are her enemies. ]

[Isaac tilts his head at the names, his brow creasing a little in confusion. There's a pause after her words though, in which the chains holding him to the wall clink and tighten- slowly, as if he thinks that stressing the steel might escape her notice.

There's no use. He can't free himself.]

Never heard of 'em. Sounds like a cult.

[ The noise has her on high alert, despite not conveying it through her body. The advantage of a mask that obscures your eyes is they can wander anywhere without the other noticing.

She hopes those chains are strong enough to hold him and his friend. ]

Essentially.

[ A hoard of freaks who worshiped blasphemy. ]

You're asking this, why?

[There's no way he's breaking out of them, not even with his added strength. Still, he's antsy, the moon bidding him to just move- but he can't. It's incessant, like a constant hum in the back of his mind.

This is going to be a long stay.]

Curiosity.

[ In part, but most of it is blatant bullshit; she threatened to kill them the last time they ever came near her or her family and at times, she's still dead-set on that promise.

She had to know if her past had come to haunt her across universes. ]

Seems awfully specific for curiosity.

[He lifts an eyebrow. Or- well, tries to, while transformed. It sort of works.]

Cats aren't the only curious ones.

[ She combs through her memory, but Isaac's voice can't be placed. He wasn't the one who made the post back then. ]

Cute.

[He glances toward the real wolf laying nearby, trying to add up the two together. There was a time that he was separated from the wolf, when Peter had returned, smelling like- well, a lot like Kane does right now.]

-you saw him. Before, when we were all loose.

Good nose.

[ She eyes Peter momentarily. ]

I didn't hurt him, if that's what you're thinking.

Good.

[Peter isn't in his pack, but there's still a part of him that feels kinship. Protectiveness.]

He's the only reason we can- be anything but animals right now.

[ A considerate pause. ]

I'm not interested in hurting any of you.

[ She thought she was done with hybrids and shape shifters and all that crap, but there's nothing here for her.

A part of her can't help but feel oddly disappointed. It's been nearly a year and she still doesn't have the answer to why her sister had to die. ]

Then what are you doing here?

[His tone is challenging, the chains rattle again. He doesn't like this at all, but it's more situational than directly caused by her. Still, it shows in his teeth when he grits them and the little growl that works its way out of his throat.]

Leaving.

[ She got what she came for, there's no reason to linger.

She tugs at the end of her cape as she pivots on her heel, her back turned to Isaac and heading out of the isolated area. ]
