Charactes: Scott (workout), Isaac (freezerburned), Peter (painedintheballs) and everyone they run into!
Summary: Werewolves. On the Moon. Sounds like a B horror movie, doesn't it?

Notes:
This is a giant catch-all log for the wolf shenanigans on the moon. The log will be split into three top level comments:
Confrontation, for characters to run into Scott and Isaac separately and fight them/try to weaken them for containment/be mauled by them,
Containment, which will be closed to the characters doing the permanent containment, and
During Containment, which is for characters to interact with the wolves while they're incapacitated, but still twigging out- this is where possible solutions will be threaded out!

Moon Base FAQ!

And a quick note to all of our awesome volunteers! We had a ton of people respond to the plotting post, so in the interest of keeping timelines intact but making it inclusive, we settled on one actual capture scenario and opened up the confrontation section to any and all containment attempts. They won't be successful, but will still give us a chance to get some CR going!

Same applies to the during containment/solution thread. We'll probably select one "permanent" fix, but we can thread out all kinds of temporary fixes or attempted fixes in the meantime, so feel free to jump in!

Also, this was super well timed because Isaac-mun is going on a birthday road trip at the end of the week (I'll be gone until Saturday, sorry guys!), and Scott/Peter mun are both slammed by work so BACKTAGS MAY BE A THING THAT HAPPENS sorry guys ;w;

[ confrontations will occur anywhere slightly isolated, dark areas of the base, etc. characters can engage in fights with the wolves, get attacked, or attempt capture! but even if the wolves are weakened, they'll most likely escape so they can be permacaptured later :(. feel free to tag one or both wolves but we're going to try and limit three way threads! ]

Isaac

[After being separated from Scott, Isaac will not be happy. While he's the weaker of the two werewolves physically, he's still pretty vicious- probably the more openly-seeking-confrontation of the two. Peter may or may not pop into various threads to save him and/or stop him from killing your character. We will contact anyone before this happens!]

[Johnny has been in a mood most foul for over two weeks now. And now, he's got his full strength and powers back, which is bad news for anyone who might tick him off further.

That goes for some werewolves who are going nuts and tear the place up while he's trying to angst alone get some sleep. He darts outside of room to see what's up.]

[ So you want to guess who is actively looking for the teen wolves?

Two clues; it's a redhead and stutters.

Once she does find him though, Charlie stops moving, eyes fixed on Isaac. So that's how he looks when he shifts. Charlie has seen some similar changes, but nothing exactly like that. It leaves space to doubt and that's bad when you're tracking potentially dangerous supernaturals. ]

[moonbases are very good places for introspection, Mulder has decided - much better than his apartment at the Hold, for what little time he'd had to get used to it. he can wander and stare out at the stars, and any horribly angsty trains of thought about the Earth below can inevitably get drowned out by the fact that he is actually Up In Space amid the stars, just that little bit closer to the truth.

as such, at this particular moment, he's leaning on a rail and looking out at the glittering, endless expanse of dying suns, and a little too lost in thought should anywolf happen to, uh, stumble on him.]

[ why does all this bullshit happen to alisha? wrong place, wrong time — and fucking wolves, but she doesn't quite know that one yet. ]

[ when alisha's avoiding rudy, she properly avoids him — which isn't the best thing to do, given that she's just come back fresh from a kidnapping, but these asbo kids continue to do stupid things, and a stupid thing is alisha walking by herself around the moonbase. ]

[ it's just her luck she happens to wonder upon the back of a wolfman, huh? she stops suddenly.glancing up, alisha's freaking out just a little. ] Jesus. [ and she will just start walking back very slowly. ]

[Lily had barely settled into her old living quarters before they had to evacuate to the moon. Now she's getting used to her new home, but she still doesn't mind. She doesn't have to spend every day fending off dangerous attackers as part of her training, which is a vast improvement over the underground facility she lived in.

Of course, old habits die hard. When she sees the rampaging werewolf she's scared at first and lets out a frightened gasp. Part of her wants to run. Then the "fight" part of her fight or flight instincts kick in and she stands her ground. There's a different look in her eyes than there was seconds before. This is a look of calm hostility, as if it's perfectly normal to have a fierce opponent bearing down on her.]

[Ally's been spending a lot of her free time exploring what's open of the base - including yes, all the weird poorly lit areas that are probably not entirely safe. But she's been doing 'not entirely safe' things most of her life, and hey, it's not like someone's going to attack her, right?

...Which of course is why she has headphones on, because honestly the quietness of this place is a liiiittle spooky]

[ He's heard about something exciting going on, and it would be basically impossible not to go take a walk and hope he manages to run into it. Man, they only just got up here, and already people are flipping out?! This is Jan's kind of exploding island.

He's currently strolling down one of the hallways, hands pocketed, posture easy and casual. There's a sharpness in the golden eyes and a here-sometimes gone-again smirk that belies that, though.

He picks up a whistle as he walks, cheerful and echoing eerily in the empty hall. Incongruous. He likes it. ]

[ But perhaps Isaac is still in something of a good mood now, relatively early in this lunar holiday — for as much as anyone can be.

For Ruka, there's no reason for a good mood. She can't enjoy the novelty of the endeavor; it's not her first trip to the moon, though the satellite of her past possessed more graffiti than government bases. Presently, she's taking advantage of the relative low population of Transports on the base to explore, charting herself a personal blueprint of the facilities. With her hands full of sketchpad and pencil, thoughts focused on proper translation of scale from land to line, she isn't giving much attention to any intruders of solitude. ]

Scott

[ scott's the more physically powerful of the two wolves, but he's also theoretically more in control. while this won't stop him from engaging in fights, he's more likely to stop himself from causing permanent damage if your character loses the upper hand. it also means he'll be slightly less frenzied and more tactical in a fight than isaac might be! ]

[Not too far from the living pods, perilously close to the border between liveable and nonliveable areas of the moon base, there's a lone boy making his way along at a shambling pace. His head is down and shoulders slumped, and he's crunching rather mundanely on an apple. Really, an apple, of all things. At least it's a fresh apple, smuggled from the surface.

Naoya hasn't really been very hungry since they were forcibly deported to the moon base to join everyone else. Part of it was getting to watch the explosion itself happen live -- and whose bright idea was that? Part of it was leaving behind even those they thought they might have saved. Part of it is just the fact that he's on the freaking moon and maybe there's something in the air, which is probably artificial and totally not good for you. He's pretty sure Tokyo air is better than this, but don't quote him on that.

The point being that he hasn't been especially social since he landed up here, either, for which he might be forgiven -- there's a lot of adjustments to be made, a lot to think about, and okay, he might be thinking too much, it's not good for him, but even he's going to need a couple of days to figure out which way is up. No pun intended or anything.

He stops at the place where the currently sectioned off parts of the station are closed away from everything else, and eyes the divide speculatively. Recent events have rather beaten his impulsive side up a little, though.]

Ah, maybe not today.

[Alex typically knew better than to be caught in isolated areas, especially if she was by herself. But come on, this was a moonbase! Could anybody really blame her for being just a little distracted? Probably not.

Getting lost, on the other hand, was totally her fault.

[Stopping dead in his tracks he lets out a frustrated roar and a nearby window shatters]

[peter is, in general, on isaac's tail, and can thus be encountered in similar places! he is not attacking anyone who doesn't attack him first or who gets too close to killing isaac, and he will never bite anyone. he's larger and stronger than a normal wolf, with more prominent fangs, but he's not insanely overpowered strong.]

[ It's hard not to take note of the supernatural mayhem aboard a moon base and despite her current grievances about their situation and the Exiles' situation back on Earth, she gears up to go "hunting".

She hasn't encountered werewolves in a while, therefore a portion of her paranoia flares up wondering who these werewolves are and if they're the ones who announced themselves on the network. Kids.

But Abbot's manipulations are not far from her thoughts, furthering her anger as she moves about the base. She can her movements -- animal movements -- not too far ahead from her. ]

CONTAINMENT

[ these threads are building up toward the characters' permacapture. Currently closed to controlledvariable, conduire, and crocodilesmiles.]

DURING CONTAINMENT

[ after scott and isaac are restrained, peter catches up to them and helps to calm them down a little while they're here. the two of them are tied up and restrained in a large room, weakened to the point where they are unable to attack- peter is in wolf form in the same room, and is unfettered by anything. this is where your characters are free to come in and attempt to help calm them down by using powers or otherwise! like the confrontation thread, characters will be split into separate headers here, but feel free to tag one or all three! ]

Isaac

[So, he's banged up, he's unhappy, he's more than a little sore- but he's with his alpha again, and with the wolf that he kinda sorta knows and trusts already. Things could be worse.

Well. He's tied up and unable to move much, and trapped in a cycle of bloodlust and exhaustion, but you know. Could... still be worse. Somehow.]

[don't jinx it, isaac.

once they're locked in, peter paces the cage, smelling everything worth smelling. if isaac didn't know better, it would be easy in those first few moments to forget that he's not just an animal. but once he's satisfied himself that there's nothing either dangerous or particularly interesting to be had, he comes and sits down next to isaac, rests a surprisingly heavy head on his thigh.]

[ she had heard of the commotion, of course. and heard it too through sharper ears than hers. with little else to do and unwilling to listen to more grieving people, she decided to look for herself.

one is familiar; the boy she had spoken to. the others aren't. her direwolf remains between her and the werewolves, not aggressive yet but likely to become so if the girl were threatened. ]

You two don't look at all like wolves.

[it was hard to ignore all the ruckus going on; her hearing wasn't nearly as good as a full Elf's, or even a werewolf, but sound carried, and her ears were sharp enough to pick up on some of the louder noise.

So here she is, eyebrow raised as she looks over Issac and the other wolves. Though her attention is mostly on him, for now]

Isaac?

[ Once she's not angry at the kids being overly confident and rude and violent and things, Charlie decides to stop by. ]

[ i hope you like the words "i'm sorry", because you'll probably get a lot of that here. scott's restrained, and it's helping him regain some focus. he doesn't look overtly hostile, and he's not fighting against the restraints - but it's probably a good idea not to get too close. ]

Peter

[peter is mostly going to be staying wolfy, because him sitting around in the room has a lot to do with why isaac and scott aren't trying to kill anybody right that second (besides the restraints, anyway). it might almost look to a careful observer like he's guarding the wolves from the people, but that would be ass backwards, wouldn't it?

if folks need to speak to someone coherent and non-violent, he'll change back for them.]
