CLINIC LOG: MUTINY TIME
Date & Time: November 16th - November 19th
Location: Transport Moon Clinic
Characters: ANYONE AT THE CLINIC.
Summary: For those poor souls who are at the clinic at any point during the mutiny! Officially the clinic is neutral to the conflict, so people from either side are welcomed!
Warnings: It's a clinic, so really anything goes.
[Were you on the clock when the mutiny started? Just coming in to pick up your paycheck? Or were you just some unlucky soul getting that mysterious rash checked out when the doors decided to shut for several hours? Well welcome to the clinic! Get comfortable! You might be here awhile unless you want to brave some moody doors!]
[But don't worry! There's more than enough to keep you semi-comfortable during the mutiny! The clinic is fully outfitted with medical supplies, mushy and terrible hospital food (as well as jello and pudding), outdated magazines, a few books, a deck of cards, a VHS collection with a VCR and best of all? One of these...thingies.]
[So do what you need to do! Make yourself comfortable, try to escape when the door seems to be open, take a nap, have some food, debate about the mutiny, or see what inappropriate things you can get away with in an exam room! The choice is yours.]
[Oh and I guess there's actually helping people with injuries and illnesses. I guess that's a thing too]
[OOC: this post is as open as can be. Make your own thread with prompt, comment around- go nuts! As stated before, the clinic is officially neutral in the conflict, but that doesn't mean you have to be!]

OTA | Any time and day
[Celebrian spends much of her time in the clinic since the incident with the zombies. Half out of a desire to ensure that she could help where she's most need and half because it was safest. And maybe a little because it's the easiest place for Galadriel, Fili and Kili to find her if they need to. So it's no surprise that she's among the others trapped in the clinic when the doors were shut.
It doesn't bother her that she's stuck in here. Not much, at least. There are people trapped outside the clinic that could be hurt and she can't do anything for that. Still, she'll do what she can for the people inside.
Whether you're hurt or not, you will find Celebrian somewhere in the clinic, tending to someone or calming others, whether through talking or soft singing. She's trying to keep busy.]
[B]
[Or maybe you'll find her sitting off to the side, leaning her head back with eyes closed and just thinking. Relaxing really. Or perhaps she's found a pen and paper and is sketching.]

This will pass, my love.

I know that it will. I just cannot help but feel useless while trapped here.

[They'd both be worrying for each other otherwise, if they'd been separated by this.]

Though being brought into this war hardly helps.

[Not so for Galadriel. Which meant that the two of them were likely experiencing this in quite different ways.]
I had hoped it was an experience you might be spared.

[Smiling, just a bit, at the gesture before leaning close to Galadriel, getting comfortable. She didn't want this experience either and hadn't wanted her mother to have to be here.]
At least I've you with me to make it less frightening.

She turns a bit, wrapping her arms tightly around Galadriel.]
Even so far from home and our people, you are still a great help to those here. It is only a different way that you help.

And yet it never seems enough.
no subject
You do all that you can, all you are able. That is enough. Nobody can ask for more.
no subject
Do I? I cannot help but wonder if there is more I might have done- something I might have foreseen or anticipated. [No. She doesn't need to be unloading this on Celebrian of all people. She shakes her head.] Forgive me, I am weary. I should not burden you with my troubles.
no subject
You cannot see and know everything, it would be too much.
[Yeah no, not letting you off that easy, mom.]
But I am here. I will listen and help if I can. You know it.

What better time than now, when there's little work to be done for either of us?

In some ways, you are far too much like your father. [Why do you feel compelled to call her on these things?] What would you have me say? That my heart is still heavy from all that has been lost? That I worry constantly? That I sometimes feel that little I do has any real impact here? All is true, but it seems so obvious that it is scarcely worth saying. If I am troubled, it is no more than may be expected.
no subject
You are not alone in being troubled. How can anyone not be? You need not shoulder this alone. You've friends and family here who would gladly help you.
Look around you, at your friends, and you'll see that you have made one.
