[It was a beautiful late summer day on the Superior shore when they arrived. The trees and grass were green, and the waves moved in and hour peacefully with the sound of gulls. With the skies clear except for some clouds, the sun shone brightly and warmed the beach to much warmer temperatures than what the winter had been doing]

[They had come up on on the excuse of gathering supplies, but really it was more for a break of sanity. Zelos had promised to go fishing with the kid, and it was really nice to get away from everything back in Exsilium.]

[Zelos, promptly on arrival, took in the warm, snowless scenery, took in a deep breath and fell back into the soft sandy beach]

...Yeah. I don't think I wanna move for awhile.

[Just because you do it like Patrick would, doesn't mean it's not throwing a game!]

I won't! [Keep reel it in! These fish sure can pull hard, but it's not like he lacks strength. He casts a glance over when he hears her shout]

Did you get one?!

Yes!

[ she's struggling. taking a few steps back, she digs her heels in and keeps pulling. ]

Great! Let's get them in together!

[And he's doing his best to reel it in! It's a bit awkward since he's never done this before, but unlike her he barely needs to move without fear of being pulled in.]

[So enough the fish is above the water and flopping around on the edge of his reel. He's reaching to try to grab it]

Jeez these move a lot!

What do you think they'd do?! They can't breathe! Ha!

[ she breathes an audible sigh if relief when hers breaks through the surface of water? she laughs, then laughs more when she sees zelos'. ]

Mine's bigger!

Huh-

[he glances over at hers, then his]

- No it's not!

Yes, it is! That's two for me and they're both bigger! Do you want to go again, old man?

Hey hey hey! I am not old!

And damn right we're going again!

[ several hours later, with the sun sinking behind the horizon, arya cooks one of her fishes over the fire. as she turns hers, she blinks at zelos all wide eyes and angelic expression. ]

You don't want to cook it too long. You'll make it smaller.

[ she may be a giant brat. ]

[It was an en entire afternoon of losing at a fishing game. After that first catch? Absolutely none bit. Just his luck]

[When she speaks up, he gives a glare over. He is an angel, he knows there is nothing good in angelic expressions]

Oh shut up.

Don't be rude.

[ pulling the fish back, she tests the meat. her fingertips are burned, but the meat is cooked through and she can pull it apart easily. she starts eating. ]

[he sticks his tongue out in response as a mature adult. He then turns back to the fire and uses his sword to grab one that's in the fire.]

Hm...it doesn't look that small.

[ she remembers to swallow before talking. ]

You can give it to Curry. She's hungry.

[...yeah he might as well. He looks around, calling for Curry]

Curry, come here! Got some food.

[ arya continues eating. nymeria is nowhere around but arya is not worried. there is little that can threaten a direwolf. she removes the slender fish bones from the meat. ]

Could you make needles out of these?
